The atmosphere is great—laid-back, beachy, kitesurfing club, etc.
The breakfast is great, especially when it comes to the food.
The staff are warm and attentive to the guests.
Great location for kitesurfing.
This is a two-star accommodation, so it is not fair to comment on the comfort of the bed, facilities in the room, etc.
BUT:
- The doors (both front and back) of the garden bungalows are made of thin steel sheets—not secure at all.
- When there is music playing in the front restaurant, the bungalow windows shake, making it unbearable.
- The Wi-Fi is poor. And the biggest red flag: the coffee is horrible (instant coffee-type sh*t). There is no espresso machine.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at B4 Beach Club and would happily return.
What really stood out was the personal service and attention from the manager, Lindsay. She is incredibly approachable, friendly and genuinely seems to care about making sure guests have a great stay. She went out of her way to help us by extending our stay, arranging another room for us, and then organising what was easily one of the most comfortable and professional airport shuttle services we had during our trip. That level of personal attention made a huge difference.
The Beach Club itself has a wonderful laid-back tropical atmosphere. The sand runs right up to the accommodation units, which really gives you that proper barefoot beach feeling, while the rooms are set amongst lush tropical hedging that provides a surprising amount of privacy. It feels relaxed, natural and very Zanzibar.
Breakfast was another highlight. The à la carte menu has an excellent selection, with up to two breakfast choices per person, so you can easily mix things up each morning. The coffee is also excellent, and the staff throughout the property are consistently friendly and welcoming.
The atmosphere around the Beach Club is great during the day. They have a really good sound system and somehow always seem to have exactly the right type of background music playing — enough to create a vibe without ever becoming intrusive.
For anyone interested in kitesurfing, B4 Kite is right on site, which makes the location particularly convenient. Guests also have access to the facilities at the B4 Boutique Hotel and can run a tab there as well, which effectively gives you even more dining, drinking and relaxation options during your stay.
I also really liked the separate pool area tucked behind the main beachfront section. It is a completely different atmosphere from the beach and a great option when you want a quiet swim, to lie in the sun, listen to your own music, or simply relax somewhere sheltered from the trop

The location is everything! I loved being able to walk the short distance from my room to the beach. I felt very safe, as there were guards by the beachfront at all hours. The staff were very kind and accommodating, especially the manager Daniel! I enjoyed having the included breakfast every morning, it was a great value and filling. There are lots of ocean view spots to sit and eat.
Part of what attracted me to this property was its focus on music. There were no DJs, parties or events during my stay, which was a bit disappointing. However, it is still a beautiful property and there are other party options in walking distance.
