Paradise Village

We really appreciated staying in a freestanding cabin rather than a traditional hotel room. It had a decent-sized refrigerator and freezer, which was very convenient. The location was also convenient for accessing the Mount Rainier entrance. Having a restaurant onsite was another plus. The food was good and came out fairly quickly, although it was a little pricey. The restaurant service was fine, although nothing exceptional. One of our favorite parts was the unexpected surprise next door: a fenced field with alpacas grazing! We absolutely loved seeing them.

The hotel receptionist was not welcoming or friendly. We arrived around 2:35 p.m. and asked whether early check-in was available. Two young women at the desk told us that check-in would not begin until 3:00, which was perfectly fine. We left to make a quick stop at the nearby market and then returned. At approximately 2:50, I went back into the lobby and waited for check-in to begin. Three employees were at the desk chatting with one another. Although they looked at me, no one greeted me, acknowledged that I was waiting, or explained when they would be able to assist me. I sat down with two other guests who were also waiting. About five minutes later, another couple entered the lobby and was immediately greeted and checked into their room, even though the rest of us had already been waiting. When we returned later to visit the restaurant, the receptionist again did not greet us, smile, or make us feel welcome. This felt like poor customer service and was noticeably different from the warm service we received at every other property during our 10-day trip. The property has a lot of potential, but several areas appeared cluttered or unfinished, with multiple projects seemingly started but not completed. Some areas also looked more like untidy residential spaces than part of a professionally maintained lodging property. We also never found an ice machine, which was surprising since that is a standard amenity at most lodging properties.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay! 🇺🇦🤍 We stayed in a cozy cabin with a shared bathroom and shower, and from the moment we arrived, we could immediately feel the care and excellent service. We received such a warm welcome — we were offered water, coffee, tea, and a welcome drink. Little touches like these always make such a great first impression. The cabin had everything we needed, plenty of clean towels, and everything was neat and thoughtfully arranged. We also reserved the sauna, which was a wonderful addition to our stay. A huge thank you to Alexander! He was incredibly caring and welcoming, showed us around, explained everything in detail, and made sure we felt completely comfortable. We traveled all the way from California to stay here, and we will definitely come back again and again. ❤️ The location is absolutely perfect — right at the foot of Mount Rainier. It’s an ideal place to stay if you’re planning to explore the national park and want to return to a cozy and welcoming atmosphere after a long day of adventures. It was also especially wonderful to find a little piece of Ukrainian hospitality here. 🇺🇦 We will definitely be back!

Clean and close to the park. Restaurant and bakery served delicious food. Servide was prompt. Checking in and out was easy.

Bathroom vent failed on second day. Little dark in the rooms. Can hear the sound of cars passing by.

My room had a very strong perfumy scent. I am sensitive to smells so this was a big problem for me. I tried airing out the room thinking maybe the scent was from housekeeping, but it was still there and I never got rid of it. I stayed two nights and the scent was there the whole time.
