Located “two steps away” from the of city center, the "Varandas do Funchal" is a friendly and welcoming apartment with access to a pleasant swimming pool. Here, you will be very close to the center of Funchal! It’s location allows you to travel, on foot, to the most interesting sights in the city. This apartment accommodates four people in total, two in a room with a double bed and two in sofa bed, available in the living room. In the common spaces of the building you will find a swimming pool, shared by the condominium, where you can enjoy the good weather and enjoy sunbathing in the company of friends and family! If you want to rent a car, the building has a garage where you can park. The house is fully equipped with all amenities. This apartment is close to the Farmers Market, Old Town of Funchal and the Cathedral. From here you can explore on foot the various sights of our beautiful city. (eg Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...) GETTING AROUND Nevertheless, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi by your own in the airport! There are bus stops nearby to get you to the centre of Funchal. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the flat. OTHER OBSERVATIONS According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties. Cleaning services during the stay, as well as the replacement of bed linen, towels, and consumables, are carried out on a weekly basis. If you wish extra cleaning service this can be arrange at an extra, affordable charge.
