The Location is fantastic- close to restaurants and in walking distance to tube, bus and shops like supermarket or bakery.
We stayed in a very warm week and without aircondition it was quite warm- but manageable by opening all windows, although it might get a bit loud due to the bar that is close by.

When we had climbed the stairs (typical of London) we were welcomed by a small but cosy and modern flat. The host had provided us with perfect information about how to get into the house and the flat, about how to use the additional sleeping couch, about the bed linen and had even provided us with some drinks as a welcome. There was a whole book on what to see in London, where to go when hungry, information about the flat, and, and, and.
The flat was very clean, and even though it was small, we had two bedrooms, a nice kitchen and a clean bathroom. We were very close to the tube stations (Notting Hill Gate and Westbourne Park). There was a restaurant in the building, but it was never loud. It was quite warm during the week we spent in London, but there were fans in every room. I can only warmly recommend this flat for exploring the city and having a quiet, cosy base, as well as the attentive host.

Great flat, very clean and lovely of the host to have milk, juice and some basics there.
Great location, close to portobello road and transport
Four flight of stairs was tough with luggage. Otherwise ok, didn’t bother us day to day.
Very hot, no aircon, but I think that seems consistent in the UK. Clifford provided fans and that was pretty good.
