Situated in Baxter, this attractive house for $235 per night is a great option for your next break. The Red Fox Inn is located in the beautiful small town of Baxter, TN. This is a lovely two story, four bedroom inn with two full bathrooms. The Inn is great for friends and families to come together. The home has recently been remodeled and new to short term rental. The space The Inn is only 8 miles to Cookeville and Tennessee Tech University, 2 ½ miles to Interstate I-40, 9 miles to Cummins Falls State Park, 1.4 miles to DelMonaco Winery, 8 miles to Burgess Falls State Park, 13 miles to Center Hill Lake, 67 miles to the Nashville Airport, one hour to Nashville. The Inn is located in between Nashville and Knoxville right off Interstate 40 and only two hours to the Great Smoky Mountains. The Red Fox Inn is a wonderful place for family retreats and friends getting together. The Red Fox is perfect for outside weddings and rehearsals dinners. If you have a birthday, anniversary, family reunion or corporate event the Inn would be the perfect place to celebrate. There are plenty of shades trees, the game room, horse shoes, badminton, volleyball and parking. There are 4 cleared acres that can be used for larger functions. Each bedroom has their own private Wi-Fi cable TV along with the living room and game room. The kitchen will seat eight and the dining room will seat five also for large groups. The two bedrooms downstairs have king beds and all the bedrooms have new mattresses and bedding. One bedroom upstairs has a king bed the other bedroom has a queen and twin bed, there is also 2 blow up mattresses. This room also has a walk out balcony where you can sit outside, drink your coffee and enjoy the beautiful grounds of the Inn. There is also a nice size laundry room, guest are welcome to use. There is a large deck with a beautiful gazebo behind the house and a nice bricked area, perfect for cookouts and entertaining. At night you can relax in the 6 person luxurious hot tub. All while looking into the beautiful night sky and watching the shooting stars. For family fun, we have at the Red Fox Inn, a large game room with fun entertainment including a pool table, arcade games, electronic darts and other games. Also enjoy watching sports on the large flat screen while playing cards. The game room is perfect for all ages.

We enjoyed our stay and the bird feeder right next to the window allowed us to see all kinds of birds up close as we ate.

We had a great stay! The house was well cleaned and decorated for the holidays. The kitchen was fully stocked and the beds very comfortable. The game room was a big hit! Gina was a fantastic host and we’d absolutely stay again.

We booked the Red Fox Inn for a small family reunion as a home basis to gather. It was perfect! Peaceful setting, lots to do right onsite - amazing game room, gazebo and hot tub. The inn was beautiful with everything you could need. Gina was a wonderful host!

This was a great house for a family vacation. While not near any major attractions, it is close to several state parks, some great waterfall hikes and an easy drive to Nashville. Room for a large family with 4 bedrooms and a fantastic game room. Thanks Gina for a great week.

House is located 15 minutes from the two waterfalls we hiked. The beds were comfortable. The detached game room was a life savor for the kids who wanted to stay up late or got up early. Gina was helpful and responsive.

The house was perfect for our needs. Location was close enough to several of our destinations, but just far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing at the end of the day. Beautifully decorated, yet warm and welcoming.

We had a wonderful time during our stay! It was a great space with lots of things to do for our kids and a great place to have a family party. We loved the game room, hot tub and outdoor toys. I wish i would have known they had corn hole, a volleyball, wiffle balls etc so i wouldn't have brought all of that. Some things we didn't love were the temperature (couldn't lower the thermostat below 70, and it was HOT) and the difficulty of physically getting in the place. Some of the locks didn't work and they're is some nuance to locking/unlocking different types of keyless entry which wasn't described anywhere and took awhile to figure out. There were also a lot of fire ants in certain areas and my 2 year old got several stings. This seemed to be isolated to the front/ side of the house and was avoidable after we found where they were. All in all it was a great place, great location for our needs and we would definitely stay here again!

Went to the Lost Sea and Cummings Falls. The falls were only 10-15 minutes away. A really fun hike and swim under the water fall. The Lost Sea is 1.5 hrs away. It was really neat. Not as fun a falls though. The house was beautiful and clean. Great set up. Lots of fun activities like horse shoes, corn hole, darts, pool table, ping pong, volleyball, hot tub.

Gina communicated well with us and answered all of our questions before we booked the place. The house is amazing, it's so large and spacious and so many activities there you could just stay here and not go anywhere else! Lots of places close by to get groceries or beer or eat out. We thoroughly enjoyed the old record player and some albums! Bring some towels for the hot tub if you have several people using it. This house is a destination in and of itself! Will definitely stay here again!

This property has great amenities. The hot tub and games were great. The communication with the host was great, and it is a wonderful location to go on hikes. It was just my husband and I, but it would be very roomy for more people. We are already looking into staying here again.

This property is beautiful inside and out! Very clean and has anything and everything you would possibly need! Plenty of games to keep the guys occupied in the game room and outside they had horseshoes and corn hole to play . Loved the hot tub under the moon and stars too! We will definitely be back! Hate we only booked one night would’ve loved to stay longer! Thanks!!

Never, have I ever, been so sad to leave. This home was a slice of heaven. We only were able to spend one night as we were just passing thru. But, the beds were an absolute dream. The hottub, so relaxing after 9 hours or driving and a short hike to see the waterfall. We also were able to play a couple of games of pool and corn hole. Then we all showered and hit the hay for our next day's journey. The home is the best I've ever stayed in. Perfect in every way.

Awesome Girl’s Weekend
The property was fantastic. Just as advertised. The owner was equally exceptional. Quick responses to small questions, and made us feel like we were family.
The furnishings are beyond great. So much character. Beds comfortable and living room is perfect for gathering.
The four of us came for R&R, and to be refreshed. This was a play games, watch movies, and eat kind of weekend for ladies that are 50+. Not to mention the hot tub was the frosting on the cake. Great time enjoying while we watched the sun go down.
We had a great time and plan to do a repeat next year.

Best vacation ever!
This property was exactly like the pictures and even better! Tons of stuff to do in the area, any of the “falls” you can go to, I highly recommend. The property had more than enough stuff for us to do that we didn’t have to leave but ventured out a couple days anyway. Extremely clean, there was nothing it lacked! Highly recommend for all ages! Even a lot of “playroom” outside for our 2 year old grandson! We will be back for sure! Rented a pontoon boat from Cookeville boat dock…had a blast on the lake and in the falls. NO complaints, if you have an outdoor projector, bring it, perfect for that at night!!!

We had an amazing time relaxing and enjoying the amenities at the red fox! we used this location as a base for house and land hunting due to its central location to the areas we were interested in. we loved having the spa and game room to unwind in each night. the house was so cute and comfortable. We had an amazing time relaxing and enjoying the amenities at the red fox! we used this location as a base for house and land hunting due to its central location to the areas we were interested in. we loved having the spa and game room to unwind in each night. the house was so cute and comfortable. Perfect getaway for a multi-family group
What made this property perfect for us was it had 3 bedrooms with king size beds. So each couple had a large bed to rest in and not be cramped. And the kids fit perfectly in the extra bedroom. They even had 2 cots to use although we did not have to use them. The space is perfect for entertainment of family and guests as the game room and kitchen is where we spent most of our time there. Gina was extremely helpful and answered all my questions quickly and with kindness. I couldn't be more pleased with our choice of The Red Fox Inn.

We had 10 girls for a girls weekend trip and we had so much fun. The house is adorable and well kept. So many great details. We loved the game room and the hot tub and all of the beds were comfy. Great hosts!!
