Very good selection of breakfast options. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location for shops, restaurants, supermarkets etc. There was always space for parking outside on the road. Would definitely recommend and would stay again on future visits.

Clean accommodation and friendly staff.
Sound proofing was not great so it was fairly loud and you could hear your neighbours in the surrounding rooms.

The room was a lot smaller than I had expected, but was comfortable enough. The location as great in the centre of town and handy for buses. It wa right opposite a large car park and may have had its own parking, but I arrived by train so didn't need it.
Oddly, there was no wardrobe, nor a coat rack or even a hook to hang my clothes on. Since I was in Barrow for a funeral, it made getting dressed a bit of a balancing act. The breakfasts were fine, and served in a very pleasant room overlooking the back of the Town Hall. Staff were helpful and polite, but the cutlery was the thinnest, flattest flatware I have ever used.
