Nestled in Humacao, this lovely house for $350 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This private, peaceful and sunny beach house is walking distance to the beach. Located in Villa Palmira, Humacao this beach front paradise is totally remodeled, fully furnished with all amenities, fully air conditioned, surveillance cameras outside de property for more security, wireless-internet, washer and dryer and private pool (Pool Service every week) About 10 minutes away from the house you can visit Palmas del Mar Resort where you will find a Hotel and Casino, restaurants, golf course, tennis courts and you can rent a boat to go fishing or to know about the smaller islands in the surrounding area. Just 45 minutes drive you have the historic walled fortress city of Old San Juan. The tropical mountain El Yunque Rainforest and the beautiful Surfing Luquillo Beach(La Pared) is a 40 minutes drive. El Faro Lighthouse Museum and Las Cabezas Nature Reserve (bioluminescent mangrove lagoon). Also don't forget to visit the small island of Culebra and its majestic Flamenco beach. The port towns of Fajardo and Ceiba, and boats hires for sailing/boating, snorkeling/scuba, fishing, and ferries to Culebra and Vieques Islands, at 5 miles. Be sure to go out sailing from Fajardo on the luxurious 50' yacht, drink& gourmet lunch included, to the small outer islands for great snorkeling. We had a fabulous time! What we saw online was exactly what the property looked like. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were comfortable. The beach was so close and water so warm that we went every day. But, we still took advantage of the in ground pool. The nature preserve was accessible from the beach and awesome for walks with the whole family. The gated community gave us a good sense of safety.

We took our grown kids on a Christmas trip to Puerto Rico. This house was a wonderful fit, giving each family their own bedroom. We loved the outside pool area where there were sun options and shade options to sit in. The washer and dryer was wonderful to have available. The beach was literally so close to walk to and I took advantage of walks there every day. This is a gated community close to shopping. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and serve. We really enjoyed our stay!

The house was comfortable and beautiful. the property manager was always available if needed. Although the beach is not for swimming, it was amazing for beach walks. They have a nature reserve a short distance from the house and the lookout view is amazing. I recommend this stay if you are looking for peace and relaxation.

Great location, gated in community. There is a historic landmark bunker hike right along the beach which is right along the Humacao Reserve. Nice short hike. Everything was included like described in listing. Pool and outside hang out was perfect. All that was needed for a kitchen was included. Which was perfect since we were not planning on eating out for all meals. We had glasses, mixer etc to make cocktails as well. We utilized the washer and dryer, just needed detergent was was no biggie! There was 3 couple and we each all had our own bathroom with shower which definitely was a plus!

Overall had a fun experience and the owner is 5 stars, easy and no issues, even with a last minute change of dates, great host.
The good:
House is big enough for 12, great layout for groups, pool is great for kids, house and kitchen is well equipped, nice bbq and patio area, nice cold AC. The hiking path by the beach leads to the next door nature preserve which has great hiking/jogging trails, a cool lookout at El Morrillo fort up on the hill, and cool scenery.
Could be better:
Shower tile needs repairs or refinished, power outlets were flaky (at least 2 didnt work) and one was partly exposed, light in the main living room was very dim, and the bunk bed was squeaky. Beach chairs were very rusty /worn, backyard lounge chair cushion was a bit moldy. All of these were minor, and all could be ignored by less picky tenants. Also there was no pool table despite one is shown in the listing photos and prior reviews, but wasnt a huge deal for us.
The not so good:
The beach is 100% piled up with 1ft of dead seaweed and filled the entire beach and water (dont plan to swim or even hang out there, its nasty). This is no fault of the owner, and seaweed is typical of this side of the island, and unfortunately for us on this trip there was excessive seaweed.
Overall, if you plan to hang out and swim and BBQ at the pool and hike by the beach and nearby trails, you wont be disappointed, but if swimming or hanging out at the beach is your thing, probably keep looking.

We enjoyed our stay at Norma's place. The place was spacious and had more than enough accommodations for 6 adults. The neighborhood was peaceful throughout our stay. The pool was SUPER nice to have, especially since we were going through a heat wave. There were restaurants and a National Reserve very close by that we also enjoyed. We took time to visit a coffee plantation, Hacienda Muñoz, that was about 35 minutes away. It was a very beautiful and interesting place. Both times that I talked to Norma, as a "welcome" as a "goodbye" she was very nice and attentive. Thank you, Norma, for sharing your beach home!

We went to PR for my son’s graduation/18th birthday and was pleasantly surprised with the property. It accommodated us well with beautiful views. There was even a happy graduate balloon along with a bottle of wine upon our arriving which I thought was so thoughtful! Kids enjoyed the pool and the neighborhood dog with dentures, lol. If you stay here, you will definitely know what I’m talking about. Property is close to shops/restaurant and I liked that it’s in a gated community. I would definitely stay here again!

Norma and her house were amazing. We had a wonderful experience and the pictures do not give this house justice. It was a lot bigger than I expected and was perfect for our large group. Norma went out of her way to make is comfortable and meet all our needs and answer all our questions. We cook most meals at home and the kitchen was well stocked which is a nice change from other houses we have stayed at

This property is in a quiet closed gate community that is very quiet and clean. The house had more than we anticipated. God bless Norma who answered her anytime we had a call. The only disappointment was the which was full of seaweed as were all the beaches on the east coast.

I traveled to PR with a group of 9 to celebrate birthdays and this house accommodated us perfectly. The house was bigger than what the pictures depicted and everything met our expectations. The owner even left a bottle of wine for us which was very thoughtful. The beach was nice although I don’t think it’s good for swimming. However, it’s perfect for morning walks, reading your book or just relaxing. The house is close to great restaurants and Walmart is within 5 minutes. We truly enjoyed our time in the house and in PR.

The location and property owner was great, it was a gated community so we felt safe. We loved the pool and the fact that there was a lot of space because we came as a family of 11. However, the place needs a major renovation. The WiFi kept going down and was weak and some of had to work several hours remotely. The bathrooms, the household furniture, the bedding needs updating. The pool furniture was old and dirty and the pool table in the garage was lopsided. The community members need to get together and clean the beach front there was wood and garbage everywhere. We had a great time because it was family but we wouldn’t stay at this location again.

The house was clean and nice. They had just about everything you could think of that you could possibly need. The only thing they didn’t have was a cleaner to wipe down counters but we took care of that while we were there. The power went out a couple of times but wasn’t a big deal, we went down to mesons for breakfast and coffee and by the time we got back we had power again. The power went out again later that day just before you very one was about to go to sleep but kicked back on within a couple of minutes. There is a Walgreens and a Walmart right down the road and the cantina and regata restaurants right next door have amazing food. The beach isn’t one you can swim in but there is a pool which made it nice. The kids loved that. There was a crab in the pool on our last morning that we caught and set free but that was the only bit of excitement. There are some turtle nests that can be seen on the beach that are protected. At night you can see the red lights at the end of the road to discourage the turtles from coming up the road. There were a few coqui that could be heard at night which was lovely. When the dryer started to malfunction, Norma had someone there to fix it right away. The ice maker in the fridge is broken but Norma was aware and was trying to get it fixed. When one of the doors got locked by mistake, Norma had someone there to fix it for us right away. She really was a great host. She was great with communication with us. I would stay here again.

The pool, tables and chairs were the perfect spot to just relax and hang out. My favorite was the short walk to the beach. Although we were not able to get in due to the seaweed the scenery and ocean breeze were breathtaking. We took numerous walk along the ocean Norma was easy to communicate with and she was very informative with the check in process. The house was located in a gated community. The house was located away from all the “main attractions” in PR, there was plenty to do nearby and it was the perfect get away to just relax from the everyday hustle and bustle. The house was also located near many stores and food kiosks. Our family definitely enjoyed our stay at this location.

Had a wonderful family vacation. My adult children and grandchildren were in aww with the island and all it’s beauty. Norma was a wonderful host. Teenage boys stayed in living room and each of 4 families stayed in the bedrooms. The property is very welcoming and clean/maintained. This is not your all inclusive property which to us was a great break in the norm. There are local restaurants and kiosks nearby but also your superstores like Walmart, CVS, fast food restaurants and even chili's within 5 mins drive. It is the perfect blend of local stay without fear of forgetting an item or having a picky eater. Norma is always available for any needs or questions. We loved it. Beach has seaweed but not enough to prevent us from enjoying the relaxation of waves crashing in paradise.
