Everything on this property was exceptional. A real glimpse into the old albanian tradition. We enjoyed it a lot! Cant wait to go back again 👍

The location couldn’t be better. There’s a parking space just outside the hotel, yet you’re only a 2–3 minute walk from the Old Bazaar, making it an ideal base for exploring Gjirokastër.
Alma, who runs the hotel, is absolutely lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. She even did our washing for us, which was very much appreciated after travelling around Albania.
The room wasn’t especially spacious for three people, but for a two-night stay it was perfectly manageable. Breakfast is served on a lovely terrace, which is a great way to start the day.
If I had one suggestion, it would be regarding breakfast. A generous selection is brought to the table automatically, which is a lovely gesture, but there was always far more than I could eat. It might be worth asking guests what they would like beforehand, as this could help reduce unnecessary food waste.

Really nice, traditional building. Staff were helpful on check-in and the breakfast provided in the morning was fantastic. It's in a really good location for all the main attractions, whilst being away from the hussle of the bazaar. Price is pretty affordable too compared to equivalent places.
Could use a chair in the room, as the only place available to sit was the bed. As more just to be aware, as it's at the top of the hill near the castle, it's a long, up hill walk from where the buses arrive, so consider this with your luggage

Amazinggg and super cute rooms! Alma too, was a great host. The breakfast was the sweetest thing also.
