Situated in Hurricane, this attractive house for $699 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Although this is a large home, many of our recent guests during the coronavirus spread have been single families. Please feel confident that you are booking a home that takes safety seriously. Our cleaning crew completely disinfects our home covering all surfaces, door knobs, etc. in between bookings. We can heat our pool during your stay to maintain an 85 degree temperature. Craig, May, 2018 Casa de Zion provides a luxurious, yet comfortable, relaxing vacation escape situated on a bluff with panoramic views from our backyard of Zion National Park, Pine Valley Mountain, Gooseberry Mesa and Hurricane Valley spread out before you. This is a great location for family (large and small) getaways, hikers, golfers, mountain bikers, athletic competitors, adventurers and corporate gatherings seeking a central base to explore the surrounding National Parks of Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon North Rim and Lake Powell. Casa de Zion comfortably sleeps up to 32 on brand new beds and two 4 inch foam pads. The master bedroom on the main floor has a king bed and day bed with trundle along with sitting area and en suite with two sink vanity, over size tub and huge walk-in tile shower. There is a second bedroom downstairs with a queen and bunk. Upstairs there is a 2nd king bedroom with two bunks, three queen bedrooms with bunk beds in each and a double queen room. There are 4 full-size bathrooms. The gourmet kitchen is the center piece of the house. It was specifically designed for families and groups to enjoy meals together with enough seating for 12 at the dining table, 6 at the counter plus more seating for 8 at the bar and table in the adjacent casita along with a toddler table for 4 and two high chairs. There is additional seating outside in the patio area including a table for 8, toddler table for 4 and a picnic table for 6. With gorgeous granite counter tops, beautiful cabinets and unique tile floors, the kitchen is fully stocked with high quality appliances including stainless steel refrigerator, gas stove, double oven, dishwasher and microwave as well as blender, crockpot, griddle, toaster, coffeemaker, etc. to help supplement your cooking experience. Dishes, cups, glasses, wine glasses, and silverware are supplied for 32. There is a full bath adjacent to the kitchen as well. After a fun day of outdoor activities, you can relax in our 34’x18’ private pool ($75 a day to heat if needed during late Fall, Winter, early Spring) encircled with plenty of chairs and chaise lounges. Since our pool is located on the East side of our home, afternoon shade is a welcomed relief. Our pool and hot tub offer breathtaking views of the majestic surrounding mountains. The covered back patio space is a fabulous extension of the family room and kitchen with a large stainless steel natural gas grill to barbeque your favorite meals. With 4400 sq. ft., there is plenty of room to spread out. Casa de Zion features a great room off the kitchen with a 48” flat-screen TV & Blue-ray, casita/theater room with a flat screen 65” Smart HDTV, Blu-ray player and game room with ping pong and king size foosball. Of course, high speed internet and satellite TV is provided. The safety of our guests at Casa de Zion is of upmost importance. We have recently retrofitted our home with a whole house sprinkler system. There is a smoke alarm in every room and a fire extinguisher on each floor. The pool area is surrounded by a 6’ wrought iron fence and block wall. The gates leading to the pool area are key locked and cannot be easily opened by a child. In addition, the pool has a cover that is key locked. Our Jacuzzi spa has a cover as well as a cable across the top that has a secure key lock. Our home is located on a bluff overlooking the Hurricane Valley and has a wrought iron fence to protect young children. Surveillance cameras are installed for security and insurance purposes on the outside of the property only. They cover the entire front and back yards including the pool and jacuzzi areas. They are not monitored and erased regularly by the security service. They would only be accessed if required by authorities or the insurance company. We are within the immediate vicinity of world-class mountain biking trail systems such as Gooseberry Mesa, Little Creek Mesa and the JEM/Hurricane Rim Trails. Canyoneering, overland 4 x 4 driving tours, hiking, rock climbing and river tubing are other possibilities. In addition, close by are over a dozen golf courses, horseback riding, snow skiing, and Sand Hollow and Quail Creek reservoirs that feature boating, water sports, fishing and more! Day trips to Zion National Park are just 25 minutes away. Hike Angel's Landing, the Narrows, the Subway, Weeping Rock, Emerald Pools, West Rim Trail, Court of the Patriarchs, slot canyons – so much to see and do in Zion! We are 100 miles from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon (1 hr 45 min), 130 miles from Bryce Canyon National Park (2 hr 10 min), 138 miles from Las Vegas (2 hr 7 min), just 19 miles from St. George (Snow Canyon State Park, Tuacahn Outdoor Amphitheatre) and 40 miles from Cedar City (World Famous Summer long Shakespeare Festival.)
