We thoroughly enjoyed our family trip at the bunkhouse! The pool, lake, and the wonderful pets made us want to come back year after year! Not to mention how accommodating Richard was!

My waze app wasn't very accurate I did need to call the owner several times for directions, but he was very gracious about it. After we arrived it was very enjoyable for the whole weekend. We rented this farm for our family of 12 and we pleasantly surprised at how room it was. A second shower might have been an advantage but not totally important. We had 6 of us getting ready for a wedding. Had no issues. We had a family pj event and had so much fun. Surprisingly close to Hermann.

The Bunkhouse was a wonderful experience. We were a group of 10 women, just wanting a private place to relax and share alot of laughs. This rental was perfect! The pool was our go-to place, the outdoor space on the farm is just beautiful. The bunkhouse is equipped with everything you need, including an abundance of towels, toiletries and comfortable beds. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back.

We spent a week down there and it was amazing! The kids had a blast and so did the adults, them got to play golf and hang out downtown a couple of days and then the wives shopped downtown and visited some wineries. Great hosts, location and Times

Wonderful Place for Girls' Weekend
This is our 3rd annual visit to the Berger GuestHouse. We have enjoyed each and every stay. This is the perfect location for a group of girls to sit around and chat all night long. The location is just outside of Hermann and convenient for the Wine Trail Weekends.

I was built for Octoberfest!
This property is close enough to Hermann for easy commute and far enough away to give privacy. The fire ring was used a lot and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you to the host family.

Girls Weekend
We had 11 women have a "moms weekend away" and it was perfect. The property was beautiful! There are animals on the farm and Richard was a great host. We took a trolley for the day to Herman and the transportation worked out great. Highly recommend. Comes fully stocked with towels, paper towels/trash bags, clean linens. We already want to book again next year!

Girls Weekend Getaway
Quiet and Beautiful location. My family and I really enjoyed a chance to get away. Location was perfect and owner went above and beyond with little thoughtful things for guest. Already planning our next trip!

Everything was perfect!
Richard, Maggie, and Katherine were great. The place was spotless upon arrival, and very inviting. We were greeted by Richard and Maggie upon arrival with 2 dozen farm fresh eggs, cucumbers and a watermelon. We did some fishing and caught about 10 largemouth bass. Also spent a lot of time in the swimming pool. We highly recommend this place. 5 stars

Beautiful farm! This is the perfect place to spend time with friends and family!
Richard is an excellent host. His farm is well manicured and he loves sharing his place. I was impressed with how well the bunkhouse was stocked. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels! No need to pack those items. The bunkhouse is perfect for relaxing on the couches or chatting at the large gathering table.
If animals are your thing- feeding the sheep was so fun and the chickens provided some fresh eggs. The pool is a huge plus and we spent a lot of time hanging there and then enjoying the stars on the top deck at night. You will not be disappointed- can’t wait to return!

Bachelorette Weekend
We stayed here for my sisters bachelorette party weekend and it was amazing! Richard is so sweet and has thought of everything when it comes to hosting! The property is beautiful! We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the animals. The property was perfect for a big group to stay comfortably! The trolley will even pick up on location making it easy to get to and from the wineries! Our group had such a wonderful time and we will definitely be back!

We had the best time here for my bachelorette party! Such a spacious fun bunkhouse and the beds were comfortable as well! Richard was the best host and we immediately became attached to the farm dog, Dakota. Could not recommend this place more, we will be back!!

Wonderful!
We had a great time with our party of 14 women! We went for my sister's bachelorette and everything was perfect, we hung out by the pool, played games, and went to different wineries. Richard recommended wonderful drivers to us, was easily accessible without being over-baring, and was wonderful to work with. The house itself is perfect with plenty of space for sleeping, dining, and enjoying each other's company! Everyone who came said how much they enjoyed it!

Great lil place to stay!
We came for a wine trail trip, and had 6 girls! The upstairs was like a giant slumber party room! We didn’t even use all the beds. It was clean and had plenty of the necessities! Richard was even kind enough to give us butter and eggs. The Hermann Trolley came to the cottage to pick us up, and then brought us back at the end of the day. It was fun! Our only tiny complaints would be that the 1/2 bath is definitely a lil tight and Dakota the beautiful dog outside, did a lil too much barking during the night a couple times.

We stayed here on a girls weekend trip and had a great experience. The house was very nice and clean. The location was great and within 15 minutes of the Hermann wineries.

Great Place for Large Groups
We were celebrating a 21st b-day party. We had young and older gals in the group. Absolutely enjoyed this rental. Richard and his son were very accommodating! They gave us eggs from the chickens for breakfast and elderberry jam! We fed the chickens and sheep, enjoyed the cats and the greeting from their very large dog Dakota every time we drove in! Trolley came to get us here for our day at the wineries and delivered us home, there was an extra $5.00 p/person charge due to it being out of town. All of the beds were upstairs in the loft, sleeping together in the loft was great! Sleeper sofas were downstairs. No bathroom upstairs, both were downstairs. Great well equipped kitchen and family/eating area downstairs. Will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful and picturesque bunkhouse
Richard and his family were so hospitable. We had a wonderful time. The unit was so clean. Well stocked and the hosts were so gracious. We enjoyed sitting around the campfire at night and feeding the sheep to. Lovely family and home. We will be back!

Very clean, we loved the pool!
This renovated barn was the perfect girls getaway! Very nice owners who have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. Lots of towels and pillows, stocked kitchen, fans, cool a/c, beautiful surroundings, loved the pool, even gathered eggs in the morning for our breakfast. The wine trolley picked us up in the morning and brought us back in the evening which was very convenient. So much fun! Thank you for a great stay! We would book again for sure.
