a very basic hostel, good value for money

it was possible to use kitchen.

fans were very noisy, the room was rather small. there were no ropes or whatever to hang wet clothes after the beach

It didn’t happen despite having a reservation.

The manager helped me find another hotel quickly.

When I arrived at the property, I was told there were no beds left even though I booked via booking.com. Beware, I believe they accept more bookings than they can accommodate for as cancellations occur. Whilst this was stressful, they did help me find another place to stay quickly.

A chilled out stay

The chilled out vibe and the peaceful atmosphere is the best part. It's a place where you can unwind and enjoy with people/travellers at the same time. The place is very close to the cliff and black sand and odayam beach which are relatively less crowded and you can enjoy sunbathing. The host was superb. All facilities like drinking water, kitchen access, wifi, toiletries were provided. The dorm bed was clean and the room was airy. Overall it was a superb experience and I would highly recommend it to everyone.

The Lungi Vibe was perfect and very affordable. The air conditioner was excellent, the bed was super comfortable and the hot water and pressure was great. Having filtered water available was a major bonus. Aneesh was very helpful and kind in helping us arrange sightseeing, taxis and giving advice on where to go and what to see. We had an awesome experience staying at the Lungi Vibe. Thank you Aneesh and Joyal.

Good, quiet location on North Cliff!

Nice rooms, close to main North Cliff. Hosts were helpful and let us extend the stay past our booking. Good hangout space with hammock, water, guitars out the back!

I've been to different hostels in Varkala and this place genuinely is damn cheaper than the other hostels. You get the authentic hostel vibes. Also this place is closer to Darjiling cafe like 4 mins walkable

Nothing at this trip😂 hopefully nothing in the future too if I visit.

Nice place for your stay in Varkala

Nice staff Quiet at night Little terrace front of the dorm Female dorm Good location close to the beach and the area of bars and restaurant Good value for money

No sheet on the bed so you can't cover yourself (and no curtain) Thin mattress not very confortable Bathroom was not clean (tissue were here in the shower when I arrived and nobody take it out when cleaning the next days.. Even a little bottle)

Had an awesome stayyy!!! Felt like home!

Loved the vibe, the host and the entire team was really helpful. They completely do justice to their motto - may all those who come as guests, leave as friends 😊

Ants were all over the property. No meal options however had an in-house cook that served breakfast upon request.

The amenities were well and good, i really loved the vibes over the place, and the attender was so calm and helpful. I was able to catch my nearby localities through this area.

Clean spacious room with the bathroom and shaded balcony. Good location, close to the all happenings on the cliff and to my favourite Black Beach. The greenery around gives break from the heat. Extra points for the drinking water :) I also appreciate the fact that there was always someone from management to help. I came way before check-in time as my train arrived in early morning and my room was ready in 15 minutes.

The owner is very nice person, very helpful. But the property is not at all good for stay. It's not at all maintained.

Great location. Very close to the beach and cliffs where all the restaurants and shops were. We liked it that much we booked another 4 nights again
