This is a lovely cottage in the mountains, comfortable and cosy. The facilities were good and the owner a gentleman. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again
The road to the cottage is a bit rough but thats part of the rural experience and it was no problems really

Rural location. Great view. Very quiet.
Took us a while to get the cottage warm enough but that was probably us not wanting to get too warm. We forgot about slurry spreading in a rural location so that was smelly the first day we arrived after the adjacent field had been covered. Overall I'd still stay there.

Beautiful and remote very peaceful, very quaint traditional cottage with stunning surroundings.
The cottage was quite cold on arrival and it did take some time to heat it up. Obviously we know it was winter and an old property, this was not a major issue just wanted to mention it.

The location was stunning and the property itself was well kitted out with pretty much everything you would need. Really comfortable and well designed layout!
The lane up to the property could do with some attention. 3 properties run off the water system which is not designed to cope with the usage - of our 6 night stay we had no water for 2 days. Had to leave without a wash or shower! The owner made excuses, but this seems to be a recurring theme as stated in the visitor book! Would need to have a mop or brush at the property as when its wet outside, the door mats don't adequately remove stones and dirt, which makes the tiled floor grubby.
