everything was perfect

The room and the bathroom were very nice, like on the pictures. We turned on the heating and it worked just fine. Wifi worked well too. The neighbourhood is quiet and pleasant. The breakfast was also very nice and varied. We did not mind that it was in a restaurant a few minutes away, maybe it is only this way in low season, but indicating this when the booking is made would be nice.

We would have appreciated a message from the property in advance that we need to pick up our keys someplace else, even if that is 5 minutes away only. After a long day of hiking, finding a note at the entrance to go pick up our keys somewhere else (despite the fact that we arrived at 6pm, so well in the indicated check-in time), was off-putting. It would have been great to attach a map since it was indeed close, so we don't need to search the location online and battle with the weak mobile signal in Schierke. The owners should address this to make future hikers' arrival more pleasant.
