The property is close to everything in Split and not up a huge hill or steps, so easy to walk everywhere. There aren't many rooms, so it is peaceful and quiet. The kitchen and bathroom are clean and well equipped, with a coffee machine included. The terrace has a lovely view over the rooftops and is nice in the evenings when it's less hot. The staff are helpful and welcoming and answer any questions you may have.
The rooms don't have air conditioning so it is very hot when trying to sleep. The ceiling fan is okay, but doesn't really cool the room. There is air conditioning in the common lounge/kitchen area though. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone not fit and nimble on their feet, as the staircase to enter is very steep and narrow, especially with luggage.

I had a lovely stay in Split. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful, and made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Communication was easy, and everything was exactly as expected.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would definitely recommend this host and would happily come back.

The host was very friendly and available if required. The room was clean, tidy, additional bedding provided if required and plenty of storage space. Access to two shared bathrooms and a dining/kitchen area all kept clean and tidy. The kitchen had a range of appliances and fully stocked with tea and coffee. Outside sitting area was comfortable and accessed by the dining area so nice for a coffee in the morning. It is a 2/3 minute walk into town. The host messaged before arrival and provided a helpful detailed discription of how to travel from airport to Split by various means including rough costings and travel timings.
Stairs were narrow to climb and not recommended if you have difficulty walking.

Excellent location for being in Split which made it excellent value.
Good communication from the hosts before arrival.
Nice shared area that could be used.
Bathrooms, especially the showers, weren’t particularly clean. Lots of hair, and lack of amenities.
Up some very narrow and twisted steps, not ideal with suitcase, many others will struggle
Hosts didn’t lock front door. Fine most of the time as can lock personal room and on 3rd floor, but when leaving bags on day of checkout in their courtyard space I was less comfortable with that idea.
