Go snow-shoeing or cross-country skiing on the snow-covered pond in back or nearby trails. Or hit the snowmobile trails on and around Moose Pond and easily connect to the Maine state-wide trail system. We love this home ! Very cozy and lots of space to relax or enjoy the game room which is a favorite for all. Pleasant mountain is so close we could hear the fireworks on winter carnival! The location of the property was close to Bridgton center and all of our favorite places. The view of the pond from the back was beautiful and the home was super cozy. We appreciated the extra games available and the large dining table to gather at with family. I wish we stayed longer!

This hidden gem is first and foremost pristine clean.
The pictures depict exactly what the property looks like. It is quiet and has all the comforts of home. John is an amazing host and responded immediately to any inquiries I made to him. He kept in touch with valuable information prior to check in and was available with his contact phone number after check in.
Check in was very easy with keyless door code provided by John prior to check in. The detailed instructions of the home property were clearly outlined in his email regarding light switches and laundry facilities etc.
The game room was a blast, and we enjoyed the pool table every day.
One of the best highlights was being able to bring our dog. He enjoyed the property as much as we did.
The quaint town of Bridgton has a lot to offer with shops and great restaurants.
I highly recommend this property and owner.

We did not want to leave this wonderful home. We were all actually sad. If we hadnt had tickets for another activity on our trip, we might have asked to stay here for the remainder of our New England trip. Traveling with my 78 year old father, he fell in love with the place and didnt want to leave. We ate in and he and my husband rested up watching their favorite horror movies. It was a much needed rest for us on our 12 day New England trip. Thank you to the hosts! Everything was perfect!

It was exactly as described. It rained the whole time we were there, so we didn’t get to enjoy the water as much as we would have liked, but it was really nice to just relax on the balcony and listen to the rain or play games. We would definitely come back.

My wife and I had an amazing week at the cabin on Beaver Pond. We were impressed with how clean the residence was as soon as we walked in the door. The fully stocked kitchen was great as well. We plan on coming back for more great fishing and relaxing.

The house was beautiful, very clean and very private. Great open floor plan. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes & cookware plus oils and spices. The furnishings were lovely and all very comfortable. John was responsive re: questions/concerns. The pond is lovely although a slight challenge with entering & exiting a kayak for a less than agile older adult.

We had such a blast staying at the cabin and swam every day. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need for cooking and grilling and the home was spotless. While the dock is a bit of a walk from the house, it is super private with canoes and kayaks to use. Our cat loved hanging out on the sun porch and we hope to come back in the future!

My wife and infant daughter stayed here for 4 nights and we had a great time. We had our family visit for two dinners and it was perfect for us all to feel comfortable, safe, relax and have fun. The home is amazing. The hosts were not always responsive but when they did they were very helpful and pleasant. I highly recommend this place.

The host worked hard to get us the best experience we could have, in spite of some natural happenings in the area that could have delayed or eliminated the stay. This property was exactly as described and made for a phenomenal weekend getaway. Has all the amenities for any type of trip - would be equally as great for curling up with a movie and with a fire in the wood burning stove as it would for enjoying the outdoors on the lake and the firepit, to having a getaway with the family and playing games in the game room on the lower level.
John and Melissa were amazingly communicative and made sure that all was in order for our weekend. We would absolutely come again!

This home away from home has it all … between the cozy comfort and the absolute beauty of nature our stay was outstanding. Great skiing snow shoeing relaxing atmosphere. Our husky loved the front porch and snow and we loved the screen porch watching the deer crossing!!!

We had a great visit to Bridgton and the house was just as described…the 14 inch snowstorm didn’t slow us down with a timely and reliable snow removal crew twice during the storm..game room is great and a nice sec,used spot but near the ski area and town. We have already rebooked!

Everything was very nice, although the stove inside was not clean, and there was cat hair on the furniture, but even with that said we had a very nice experience The only reason I am saying anything negative is because it would not be fair to the owner if we did not say something. It is a beautiful house and we were very pleased with everything. Oh LOL we could not find a can opener but they had everything soup to nuts.

What a great place! Loved the open floor plan-nice set up for a family/group. Lots of amenities-including a pool/ping pong table in the mostly finished basement. Would consider returning during warm weather to take advantage of the lake and screened in porch. There was a small glitch during check-in but it was resolved quickly. Really enjoyed our stay!

We loved everything about this property! It was warm and inviting, and had the most comfortable furniture! We are just from the next town over but wanted to do something different for our Sons birthday celebration!
