The apartment is beautifully positioned above the old town of Nafplio, with a wonderful view over the harbor. We loved the location. It is close to everything in the old town while still feeling slightly removed from the busiest streets.
The apartment itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts also met us at the parking area and showed us the way to the apartment, which was helpful.
The setting really is the highlight: Nafplio is a gorgeous town, and the view from the apartment made the stay especially enjoyable.
There are quite a few stairs to reach the apartment, including from the parking area about a five-minute walk away. This was not a problem for us, but it could matter for guests with mobility issues or heavy luggage.
The kitchen could use a modest upgrade. The cookware felt fairly basic, the non-stick pans were no longer very non-stick, and some basic cooking utensils were missing. There were also no paper towels or extra trash bags. When we asked for paper towels, we received toilet paper instead.
It also would have been helpful to have English-language instructions for the appliances.

The apartment was equipped with a machine machine.
We were given a different apartment than the one on the images. This was very deceiving. After mentioning this to the owner, the response was that booking. com informed them that we booked the one-bedroom apartment and not the two-bedroom apartment. Yet, we had never seen any other apartment on offer from the same owner. The property is listed as a 2-bedroom apartment and now after reviewing the site on booking.com, the listing is clearly mixing images from 2 different apartments! We were told that the 2-bedroom apartment is already occupied. The WiFi did not work and even after mentioning it, no one bothered to fix it. On the amenities list we had an outdoor dining area. There was none. Hairdryer and a fold away bed, although not required, there was none. A balcony transparent shutter was bolted in place leaving that area and the bathroom enclosed, very moist with mold forming in one corner of the 'balcony'. The shower had a failing shower curtain. This seems to be a miss sell of a property, showing one thing and delivering another.
