About this condo rental
Nestled in Astoria, this lovely condo for $107 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Apartment has hardwood and granite floors, high ceiling, bright unit, facing Broadway. Its located on the third floor of a walk-up building. LIVING ROOM features a large TV, DVD player, sofa, armchair, coffee table and table that seats 4. MASTER BEDROOM equipped a queen size bed, night stand, dresser with a mirror , closet and a storage space. SECOND BEDROOM equipped with two single beds, night stand, dresser with a mirror, closet, and a storage space. Pullout beds are available upon request. ******************************* KITCHEN is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances: microwave, stove, toaster, as well as utensils, glasses, blender, plates, pots/pans and coffee maker. If there is anything in particular that you need, just ask I will try to provide it. Payments are accepted via HomeAway. Full balance is due 30 days prior arrival. Reservation confirmed once deposit is received and rental agreement is signed. The apartment is a prime location for access to the best of Astoria and get a feel of living in a diverse and bustling NYC neighborhood. The rooms with its vast windows provides great views of buildings of LIC and Central Park S.
Just off the apartment is Broadway where one can indulge in great food of various cuisines and shop for daily needs, groceries, etc.
The N/W train is just 5-10 mins walk from the apartment which can be taken to other part of Queens, BK, Manhattan, etc. Additionally, there is the option to also take the NY Ferry from Astoria Terminal just a short walk / car ride away.
A short train / car ride takes you to Ditmars Blvd with its great restaurants and also path to Astoria Park for a great relaxing morning / evening walk.
This was a great place for the family and we enjoyed our stay. Anna responded to every queries promptly and we did not have any issues. Hope to be back.

The Subway station is less than a five minute walk! The apartment is even better than it seems in the photos and could easily sleep a family or two. The landlord is kind and very responsive. Altogether, a terrific experience.

Outstanding three month stay
My son and his roommate studied in New York for a semester, and this was the perfect place for them. Stayed here with my partner before we moved into a long-term apartment. The apartment is really spacious with 2bd/2ba and an extra laundry folding room that can be used for storage. The kitchen is well-stocked and wifi works great. Anna, our host, was also really hospitable and responsive to us during our stay.
In terms of the neighborhood, I hadn't spent much time in Astoria before, but it is really awesome -- so many restaurants, cafes and the subway are right there. You've also got 3 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk.

The building is very quiet, we did not hear any noise for the other tenants. The neighborhood is very active. Great restaurants within a short walk. Our first night we even found a restaurant just a block away that had a band playing. Even though we were tired from traveling all day we stayed up late enjoying the music. There are plenty of grocery stores an easy walk from the apt. One is directly across the intersection from the entrance. Several Organic grocery stores & restaurants close by as well, which we were very happy about.
The stairs to the Apt are pretty steep, just make sure everyone in your party is in fairly good shape for the climb. You won't have to worry about missing out on your workout while staying there ;-) Enjoy!

Very comfortable apartment
Very comfortable and well equipped apartment. We enjoyed being in a more residential area and there were good restaurants and diners close by. As well as an easy subway journey we enjoyed getting the ferry in from Astoria to Manhattan which gave great views of New York .

Great place!
Everything was fantastic for our party of 6 girl's weekend at Anna's property. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The sitting area was a nice space for us to hang out in. There was a modified weekend schedule for the subway, so it didn't stop at the closest stop but walking wasn't a big deal.

Believe all the other positive reviews here! We had an exceptional stay at Anna's apartment. It served as the prefect home base during our week in New York. The apartment is very large, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Yes, the stairs are definitely something to keep in mind--if you don't have the ability to climb three flights, then you will want to think twice. But if you can handle subway stairs, then you'll be fine here.
The apartment is a quick walk from the N/W train, and it was easy to get into the city. Depending on where in Manhattan you want to go and how often the trains are running it takes about 25-35 minutes to get to the major areas. We fell in love with the neighborhood and enjoyed seeing how the street changed each evening that we came back. There are excellent breakfast and dinner options within blocks of the apartment and I'm sad that we weren't able to try more. There is some city noise if you have the windows open, but it's not much more than people passing by and the occasional loud car going by. (Granted, we live in a city ourselves so we may be more desensitized.)
Check-in and all communication with Anna went smoothly. She responded to everything we needed in a timely manner.
Highly recommended--hope to return soon!

The real deal
Believe all the other positive reviews here! We had an exceptional stay at Anna's apartment. It served as the prefect home base during our week in New York. Family vacation to NYC
The apartment is very clean and comfortable. My wife, myself, and our three teenagers enjoyed using the apartment last week as we visited NYC. Everything was great with the apartment, but I would not recommend for someone who has difficulty using stairs. The views of the Manhattan skyline from the third-floor apartment were great. The access to the nearest Metro station was a short five-minute walk. The sidewalks are well-lit and lined with stores and restaurants. We felt safe while walking to and from the Metro station - even after midnight. The apartment has coded entry to the building and to the third-floor apartment hallway access. Anna was great to deal with. I had one issue with the code when we arrived. She answered the first call and took care of the issue immediately. The apartment had all of the amenities as described and we enjoyed staying there. I would definitely recommend to families that want to visit NYC.

Great Stay
The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Cheaper than a hotel and a great location. A short walk from the N W trains that can get you almost anywhere in Manahattan. Had a brief issue with the code access and Anna was available to resolve immediately. You will love this place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Astoria. Everything was perfect - spacious, clean and very easy to commute to midtown and Times Square. The stairs were more than we expected but we managed and it all worked out. Thank you Anna!

A taste of New York
Very handy to subway which gives easy access to all of Manhattan. Metro card well worth the money. Plenty of places to eat. Recommend Trestle for very good service and lovely food.

Totally satisfied with our stay, Anna is so nice, she answered all of our questions. The apartment is in excellent condition and location, just a few minutes from the subway, there's a grocery store across the street. All this amenities made our vacations an unforgettable experience. 100% recommended!!

LOCATION..LOCATION...LOCATION
My husband, me and our 16y/o and 18y/o boys have visited NYC a few times but always stayed in a hotel. We are from Chicago and wanted out of the touristy areas. This was perfect. Great restaurants within walking distance. It's a very diverse community. Grocery store within 10 second walk. Subway...2 blocks away..N train takes you directly to Times Sqare and Coney Island. W train...directly to Chinatown. Great shopping. Stop at Fools Gold on 145 East Houston Street in the East Village. It's an easy walk from the Chinatown stop on the W train with tons of shops along the way. I am a picky eater. I am pescetarian...which means a vegetarian that eats eggs, dairy and fish,. I had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. HELLO? Did someone say "yummalicous"? It's not a regular grilled cheese..it is made with grilled onions and truffle oil...I added the grilled onions and a fresh slice of tomato. I cant tell you the secret ingredient..here's a hint... sweet and salty....ya mon! BEST EVER! OK...back to the neighborhood. We used the laundromat on a rainy day..1 minute walk. They have a change machine, but get your detergent etc. From grocery store across the street. Get a discount card from grocery store. It's free and saves a lot of money. Neighborhood is always alive at anytime and has the best restaurants. Definitely go to Ramen. It's on the way to subway...left side of street. Always busy and the most amazing menu. Extremely affordable. That's the great thing about this neighborhood. Shops, friendly locals, and delicious restaurants and a flippin crazy bakery. I can't explain the visual and oral satisfaction it offers...must go...We went 2x in 2 days. OMONIA cafe...on right side of Broadway past the train station...GO GO GO. Now, the apartment. Yes, it's a walk up. 3rd floor. But most apartments in this neighborhood are. The place is very roomy but yet cozy. One TV...in living room..we sat with the boys and talked all the time because of the layout. It says 2 bedrooms...but really 3. There is an extra room that fits a rollaway easily. 2 rollaways in closet with fresh sheets. Anna was extremely kind and easy to contact. Apartment was very clean (I'm in healthcare), and quiet. Previous reviews said loud neighborhood, but the windows are sealed, and keep noise out. We will be back. Thanks so much Anna!!

Lovely apartment
Well situated, light-filled, and comfortably furnished, this apartment served as a great base for us to explore the city. It is a few blocks from subway, in a neighborhood filled with restaurants and shops. The owner, Anna, was very responsive to our needs. Particularly nice beds and linens.

Die Nähe zu Manhattan ist toll aber auch Astoria hat einiges zu bieten. Auch mit Kindern kann man das Appartement sehr empfehlen. Bei schlechtem Wetter sind die Wege kurz und es ist genug Platz zum Spielen vorhanden.
Rückfragen werden stets schnell und zuverlässig beantwortet. Es nicht unser erster Aufenthalt und wird auch nicht der letzte bleiben.

Apartment is well located.
The apartment is in excellent conditions and just few minutes walk from various train stations. There is a grocery store literally across the street and there are also multiple restaurants in the vicinity of the apartment. The apartment is also bigger than what it looks in the pictures. Anna was very accommodating to our requests. My only comment is that the apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator in the building.
