We had a nice stay at the lodge, we were changed room because there was electricity issues in the first room we stayed in, for the better since the first room was really outdated. I would say most of the lodge and amenities are rather dated (particularly the pool which we did not even dare swimming in...) apart from a few rooms which are adequate/nice. Since there is not a lot of options on the island this is still a good one, but it could benefit from more upkeeping.

Breakfast was exactly the same both mornings--Lots of eggs, lots of toast. OK, not great. Our two dinners were quite good.
The pool was unusable, as it was pretty much a pigeon watering hole.
