We spent a week at Ranc pod Hajom - and we would have liked to stay longer. We were seeking a quiet, homely stay in the countryside, and that is exactly what we got with this choice of accommodation. We loved the nature all around us, both on the ranch and in the surrounding countryside. Waking up to the sounds of birds and farm animals was a great treat for us city dwellers. The property is far enough away from the more urban and touristy parts of the region but not so far that their facilities cannot be enjoyed when needed, e.g. shops. Oh, the speleology museum is highly recommended.
We were there during an extreme heatwave, but we were pleasantly surprised by how cool the cottage remained even over the heat of the day. Besides, there was the pool if we really needed to cool off and plenty of shade.
Pavol is a wonderful, wonderful host. He made us feel very much at home and helped us in so many ways. Even when Pavol was out riding with other guests, other help was at hand. We had one of our best holidays ever at this ranch and in this lovely part of Slovakia. Thank you, Pavol. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family! You deserve excellent ratings from all your clients.
Nothing, except the record-breaking heat, which no one here could have done anything about.

Świetna lokalizacja, dzieciaki zachwycone zwierzakami i wszelkimi aktywnosciami przygotowanymi pod nie (rzutki, łuk, pingpong, hustawka)Wiejsko i czarodziejsko!
extra lampa w kuchni, salonie by sie przydała, było dość ciemno wieczorem - trudno nam było grac w planszówki ;)

The location was superb . close to nature and reachable to all main spots. The host is nice and supportive
Toiletries were not available . Towels are very old and bed is not comfortable.
