The house was very nice and had everything you need. The outdoor patio was gorgeous and so peaceful in the morning. The house had a coffee station with coffee cup coffee maker and hot cocoa! The desk and charging station was very useful in the main living space. The only minus I had was a severe lack of cell coverage in the area and bad network connectivity upstairs. If you need to work at all you will need to stay on the main floor and near a window and hope. If you are going to unplug and relax, this house is perfect for you!

This house was great! The patio was amazing! So peaceful in the morning and evening to sit and watch the sun rise or set. Very convenient location. House is well laid out and has everything you need. Coffee station with k-cup brewer was a nice touch. Charging station in main living space was so appreciated!
Only slight detractor was there is no cell coverage in this area. None. If you are looking to fully disconnect that is great! We needed to keep some work going so this was a small annoyance. Also, the Wi-Fi is there but not strong and did not stay connected upstairs well. Just something to note if you need to stay connected.

We had a wonderful stay while in town for our son’s graduation from USCGA! Plenty of rooms to spread out. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with every gadget, pot, pan, etc. you could possibly need. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly for us to fully enjoy the outdoor space.

We spent Family Weekend at the USCGA with our Cadet and this house was perfect for us! Loved the decor, ambiance, being on the water and the views were beautiful. Fully stocked kitchen was great, charger station was very helpful, and having three full baths was HUGE! You can't beat the living areas and bedrooms. Leslie was very gracious to us. We all agreed this is where we want to stay the next time we return!

This home is very nicely decorated and very well equipped. The home has some nice amenities, such as being located on a cove, ample parking and quiet street. We enjoyed going to Mystic, Rocky Neck State Park, take-out from Fred’s Seafood Shanty, and took a trip to Watch Hill, RI. We missed getting a reservation to do the Lighthouse Tour about the Cross Sound Ferry (book in advance). It is hard to keep floors clean in a vacation home, so we did notice the effects of that. Everything else inside was very clean. The outside area could use some cleaning of dead leaves and dead plants in planters. Overall, we had an awesome visit and would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing beach house!
The house had all the bells and whistles! We stayed with another family who also had small kids, and the upstairs and downstairs felt like two separate rentals. The middle floor and awesome outdoor spaces served as the common areas. Multiple beaches are within walking distance, including one that had a boardwalk! The outdoor bar area had direct access to a nice cove for where the kids could swim. We also kayaked (brought our own but I believe there are some available for a fee) across the cove to a playground for the kids to use. The adults also kayaked from the cove to the sound. Couldn’t ask for a better house and area for families with small children! Our contact for the property, Leslie, was very responsive and helpful too!

Perfect summer vacation house!
Beautiful house with all the bells and whistles; it even has an outdoor shower tucked inside vines! We stayed with another family and the upstairs and downstairs each felt like their own private rentals and the middle floor and outdoor areas served as a common hang out area. Walking distance to multiple beaches (one with a boardwalk). The house also had direct access to a cove that we used to kayak directly into the sound (we brought our own kayaks but I believe there are also some available for a fee). Family friendly house and location too; directly across the cove is a playground you can easily kayak over to play on with the kids.

Fabulous house
This house is perfect! We were a group of friends attending Ocean Beach Park Polka Days finally after 2 years! The house has enough room to gather together and also to get away from each other. The kitchen has everything you need. The patio and outdoor bar are perfect for a quiet cup of coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back next year!

Wonderful home
We were there for a graduation, and we are a family of 8. This house was perfect! It has everything you need for your stay, the view was breathtaking. Leslie was wonderful with giving us all the info we needed to check in and out. Everything was so perfect we didn’t need to call Leslie for anything because we didn’t have any issues. I recommend this home. We will stay there again. Loved it.

We shared this property with my Husband's siblings, it is a great place to stay with multi family members. We enjoyed watching the ferrys go in and out of the harbor.

Location wasn't my favorite, having stayed in Mystic earlier in the summer this house was further away from the things we wanted to go to. Ocean Beach Park was convenient to walk to but I found it slightly dirty and a bit trashy. We took the kids one day and I won't be returning on nay future trips (the beach and water were beautiful but the crowd was "rough", the rides weren't exactly open and the food places were all closed, it was a bizarre place). The home was awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Really appreciate the hospitality of Kelley and the warmth we all felt in her home. Thank you for a great stay!!

Well-maintained property with lots of thoughtful extras provided. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio/bar area. The outdoor furniture was comfortable, and the children LOVED having such easy access to the water. The kitchen is well-functioning, and we easily prepared family meals.

We had the best vacation at Ridgewood by the sea!!! The house was immaculate and had every amenity. As described in the listing there are two separate living spaces which was great for our two families with young children. We enjoyed Waterford beach and felt like we were in Florida! Kelley was very accommodating! She even had a high chair and baby gates for us!

2nd Stay - 2nd Great Experience
This is a great property in a great location, and this was a return trip. We were able to enjoy easy kayak trips to Alewife Cove or the local beaches. The outdoor patio/bar area became a focal point for children and adults. The owners provide inviting, comfortable outdoor furniture. The kitchen is surprisingly well-outfitted, and we were able to easily prepare many meals for our group of 10 people. In general, washer, dryer, and kitchen appliances are top notch. And kudos to our hosts for the many extras they provide to make us feel right at home.

Our event was cancelled due to COVID-19 but we decided to vacation at this beautiful home and I am so glad we did! It was beautiful and had everything we needed to make it a perfect week! To top it off, it was the perfect setting for our daughter to get engaged! Kelly was great to work with and even left us some delicious croissants!

Location wonderful for enjoying views of ocean and nature walks. House met our needs for this winter get a way. Owners awesome. Outdoor living space superior. Do not recommend using Evolve for booking. They charge everyone for damage and don’t seem to be willing to return $ when there is none.

The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we could think of to make our stay very enjoyable. It had a great backyard with views of the inlet with lots of different birds (geese, ducks, egrets, etc). It was close to Ocean beach, where we spent a lot of time walking. We came with our family and were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings!! We would definitely stay there again!!!

The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we could think of to make our stay very enjoyable. It had a great backyard with views of the inlet with lots of different birds (geese, ducks, egrets, etc). It was close to Ocean beach, where we spent a lot of time walking. We came with our family and were able to prepare a full Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings!! We would definitely stay there again!!!

The kitchen was very well supplied, with nearly every appliance and kitchen tool needed.

Wonderful family vacation for a much needed getaway.
I just returned from a wonderful family vacation with my sisters and parents. The house was spacious and a perfect venue for my sisters and me . My parents stayed in a nearby Inn in Niantic that was 15 minutes away. The home is close to Groton, Niantic, Mystic and Watch Hill and Westerly, RI.
Kelley, the owner was so gracious, warm and responsive. We arrived to fresh donuts and bagels and juice which was so kind.
The home was warm and lovely and very well appointed and did not feel like just a house but a resort compound for our family. The kids loved the cove. We rented 2 tandem fishing kayaks from 3 Belles in Niantic (they deliver to house) that had pedals. We also borrowed the kayaks at the house as well as the paddle boards. The tandem kayaks with the pedals were great to get you to the ocean which was just around the bend. My sister and her husband and nephew went out to fish in the ocean and caught porgies. A few were keepers and they were delicious.
The cove was a perfect setting for the kids to float on the kayaks and swim. The water is not deep so we felt it was very safe. The outdoor area was great to hangout and we used the outdoor shower to rinse off.
Since we had a big group, we ended up cooking dinner and staying in on most of the nights. The house has a wonderful large table that we could all sit around and enjoy our dinners that were made in the very well appointed kitchen.
The house is well equipped with wine glasses, kitchen tools, and wonderful platters that we used for our dinners. My daughter turned 17 at the end of our trip and we had a great dinner for her and then made fire in the fire pit and made smores.
The bedrooms were very comfortable and the various bed arrangements were perfect for our family.
The home has many different areas to congregate- so everyone had a comfortable nook to relax and have some space when needed.
The boys loved the basement TV area for hanging out.
We loved our stay. It was a much needed respite after the stress and restrictions from the pandemic.

Not your typical rental property. You can tell these owners take great pride in their property. The decor is modern and fresh and it has everything you could need for your group to be comfortable and relaxed. many nights enjoyed by the waterside fire pit, riding kayaks and paddle boards. The owner was beyond accommodating. if your looking to just relax on the beach I recommend the Waterford Town beach.

This home was perfect for our gathering of friends from all over the country. The house is well appointed with enough towels and rooms for all plus enough space to have alone time if needed; the porch off the master bedroom was a hidden gem! The outdoor space was wonderful - a large patio with plenty of seating, an outdoor bar at which we spent a good amount of time plus a fire pit for nighttime enjoyment. The neighborhood is quiet with very little traffic to add to the peaceful setting. The house is surrounded by vegetation so you truly feel like you are on your own little island.
The house is located on Alewife cove that leads by a meandering stream to the Long Island Sound. Several of us took advantage of the two kayaks and explored the waterway. We also walked to the beach and appreciated the off season calm of the boardwalk, sand and hiking area. Our trip coincided with Hurricane Dorian so we were able to hear the waves crashing on the shore from the house... an unexpected bonus! We all joked about the waterpark that was visible from the house..it was closed for the season and we all laughed that it was a perfect Scooby Doo (the cartoon, not the movie - did I just give away our age group?) setting with a cranky gatekeeper being foiled by the gang.
We all enjoyed cooking and hanging out together - in this home, it was easy to do. It is located near the downtown with many great restaurant choices and plenty of Uber/Lyft availability.
We thank Kelley for her helpfulness and assistance with all of our queries (the chalkboard welcome was a nice touch - thank you!). It was a perfect getaway for all and we hope to stay here again.

This was a great vacation spot. We were looking for a place that would work for our whole family. With the downstairs having the two bedrooms, bathroom and common area was perfect for my daughters family. While the third floor with the three bedrooms was roomy for the rest of us. We took turns making meals with the kitchen having an abundant amount of pans and dishes. The kids utensils were so helpful. Everything you could possibly need was there. The patio was perfect for night time fires and our corn hole tournament. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach cart were so helpful for our trips to the beautiful beaches minutes away. Going to the Mystic Aquarium on a rainy day along with an evening trip to Mystic for shopping and ice cream. Such great place to visit with many wonderful memories made!!!

House was great you didn't have to leave. We had 6 adults and 5 kids with room to spare. Being able to Swim and kayak right out off the yard was awesome. There is a park you can kayak to on the other side of the cove, we used it as a daily adventure. Also drove to the beach, where you need to pay for parking ($17) and that gives you beach access for 5 people. There is other tings to do once there such as mini golf, and some rides but we didn't take advantage of any of that. Our last night was a Friday night and they had a band playing on the boardwalk you could clearly hear followed by a nice firework show to close out the evening next to our own fire. Great spot for a quick getaway. Also the interior was clean and very nicely decorated in a coastal thee throughout the house and outdoor bar.
