The hotel is in an excellent location and stands beautifully along side the river.
We had received a message several days before our arrival requesting a check in time, although we advised before 15.00 which was the advised time recommended we were told the room wasn’t ready and had to wait another 40 minutes 😔
Also considering the cost of the hotel and spa I was surprised to be asked to pay £10 for a swimming cap which they insisted we had to wear.

Lovely hotel situated in a quiet spot but the centre of Arcos is easily accessed across the river on a pedestrian bridge. The river view rooms are worth the extra cost.
Parking is available but a bit tricky to access.

A well appointed hotel overlooking the river in this historic town. Everything to a high standard, as you'd expect from a decent hotel - location, staff, rooms and breakfast. And well worth a stroll around town for the restaurants and the castle.
Would have liked to try the restaurant but it was shut on the night we stayed.
