For us it was the perfect starting point for the Transfagarasan route! We stayed for only one night, but i regret not booking more. The room was pristine clean and we slept like babies.
We also had parking spot, a nice breakfast and a drink on the terrace which is near the river. The staff was amazing, I don’t remember the last time I met such nice hosts! I would surely come back here.

Location, More than excellent. BEAUTIFUL spot right near a river. I think it's actually the water that comes down from the Balea Waterfall. Very convenient spot at jsut 20km (30mins drive) to Bâlea Lake, right on the Transfăgărășan road.
Food is excellent, great Gulaș! Recommend!
Hosts are very kind and willing the help at all times.
Good prices in the menu at their restaurant.
As a recommendation, I would serve breakfast starting 7.30 instead of 8.00, especially from those that sleep over and want to hike longer trails the next day. But other than that, very good spot!
Mattresses could use an upgrade, but noticed that place and facilities are being upgraded and modernized which is clear that hosts are investing for their guests confort!
