The apartments met exactly our expectations, the checkin process was smooth, despite us arriving late. The size of the room was great and the amenities felt luxurious. The staff was very welcoming and sweet. Bonus for the beach right outside of the apartment.

The property has been completely renovated, and you can really see how much care and effort the owners have put into making this place special. The rooms are modern and beautiful, the bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, the bed is extremely comfortable and there’s a big smart tv. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, the cleaning service is excellent, and all the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming.
The view from the “Side Sea View Room” is beautiful. During the day and at sunset you can enjoy the sea, while in the evening the lights of the mountain villages create a lovely atmosphere. Some reviews mention the many greenhouses in the surrounding area, but we didn’t mind them at all. They didn’t affect our stay or the beautiful atmosphere of the place. It’s clear that they’re an important part of the local economy, and we didn’t find them distracting.
The beach is literally in front of the rooms and the umbrella is included in the price of the room. The beach doesn’t feel small because it’s really beautiful and there is also the new beach bar, with delicious food and drinks.
It’s a perfect place to stay if you want a relaxing or romantic stay, but also if you want to do some snorkeling or explore some other beach in the west side of the island.
We spent seven days at Kolombito and then two days at another place near Elafonissi. Looking back, we wish we had stayed at Kolombito for the entire trip and simply driven to Elafonissi for a day trip.
