Beautiful stay in the country side only 15 minutes drive from Porto Covo and Vila Nova de Milfontes. It was exactly as described. Ample parking, clean and tidy shared bathroom and kitchen with decent size private rooms. We loved our stay here and would come back in a heartbeat. We especially loved the outdoor seating area to enjoy the afternoon sun. We also loved how tranquil it was being in the country side and hearing the nearby animal sounds. Would stay again and recommend to others!
Nothing! Only thing for others to note when booking is location - you definitely need a car but this was clear on the booking. The location was perfect for us.

This place is slightly off the beaten track for hikers on the Rota Vicentina, and completely so for other tourists. But the location is serene, it is only 30 minutes walk from a glorious beach only used by a few surfers, and there is a lovely bar restaurant about 15 minutes away that provides great mainly Alentejano food. Rute and Mario are so helpful and welcoming that it feels like a home from home. Don't expect international hotel-style, this is perfectly adequate comfort wise, but resolutely Portuguese, distinctly 'green' and all the better for it.
I suppose the eating options are limited if one does not like walking/driving a little... but Rute keeps a stock of basics to cook for yourself in the kitchen. Nothing at all that I did not like.
