Very comfortable, well equipped high class stay.

Very well done - very clean and fresh. Great fittings and equipment. Very comfortable

Could hear people walking about upstairs - not a problem for us but noticeable.

Very dissatisfied

The decor was nice.

Property had a lot of water damage from roof top including damp, peeling paint and even mould in the bedroom, On booking through the app no where said it was up on second floor. There was 3 flights of stairs to walk up. Finally the guests in other flat directly below was smoking weed and we sadly had to leave early because when we told the hosts, all they said was we'll pass it on to management on Monday. So our weekend was ruined. Not a single bit of refund offered for the inconvenience that the hosts cannot act straight away to problems with neighbours. The floors were sloping, property damaged as you can see in photos and smelling fridge. Car parking is not safe at all.

Exceptional

This apartment is ideal for a long-term family stay. It had everything you needed and even more. A welcome basket with fruits and sweets was waiting for us. There were also some foods and spices. Perfect cleanliness. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lots of towels. Very comfortable beds and the sofa was very comfortable to sleep on. The apartment fully corresponds to the description. Modern appliances and even an air dryer. Excellent location in a quiet street. The owner was always in touch and quickly answered our questions. The vacation was great!

Great apartment, fantastic location, no brainer...

The Greyfriars apartment we stayed in was great - it is spacious, clean and has everything you require... If you are arriving with a young family - having a fully furnished kitchen, washing machine, dish washer, a main bathroom with a bath, an ensuite bathroom, plenty of towels as well as great Wi-Fi makes this booking a "no-brainer" and stress-free... The location is equally fantastic, within minutes walking distance from the beach, the pier, the main streets with numerous local shops, restaurants and takeaways... The dedicated parking space is really convenient too, especially during the summer peak period... Our host was very courteous and polite, providing clear and detailed instructions on entry and exit, as well as being on hand for any other questions or requirements... The complementary water, soft drinks and fruit was also very welcome and a testament to their great service and dedication... We had a great time in Clacton and this Greyfriars apartment played a major part in creating such a wonderful time and experience... Many thanks again Greyfriars team.

We stayed in the ground floor flat and for us it was too light in the bedrooms in the morning during the summer... It would have been useful to have some curtains in addition to the blinds...

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Loved the fact we had outdoor garden space which the kids enjoyed.

The location of the property was amazing. The beach was practically a minute away. It was clean and spacious.

Didn’t like the fact the check in was 5pm which I thought was quite late. We also, didn’t have hot water in the bathrooms which was quite annoying given you wanted a decent shower after being at the beach the whole day.

Amazing place for family weekend evan with 2 toddlers, lots of space, kitchen with apartment helps you cook what you like if you try save some money with those days. View for the sea priceless.

Nice break away and pleasant apartment.

Lovely handy spot for many amenities Nice open plan and roomy

Squeeling water pipes every time we flushed toilet or used tap. No hooks to hang dressing gowns up etc . Could do with one on toilet door and bedroom door.

A great flat - would recommend

The flat was spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated the amount of towels provided, the equipment in the kitchen and the water/cola/fruit on arrival - a nice welcome. The free parking space was also much appreciated.

A couple of minor issues - the kitchen table is wobbly. A mirror in the twin bedroom would also be useful.

Overall, our stay was very pleasant and all amenities and entertainment were close by.

The Apartment was clean, modern and spacious. It was nice to have the doors leading to the garden open, and a lovely place to relax and read. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need for convenience.

We stayed in the ground floor flat and for us it was too light in the bedrooms, it would have been useful to have some curtains in addition to the blinds.

If you are in training to climb Mount Everest, this is the place for you.

Clean, well equipped & well located- with parking

Apartments 3 & 4 are in the attic - up 3 stories of steep, narrow, winding stairs. Just getting our luggage up there was a life threatening experience. Also , the bathroom was a floor below the living level…. & had no power for hairdryers etc.

I loved how clean the apartment was and the communication from the owner. The cleaner was lovely and always went out of her way to ensure I was enjoying my stay. 100% recommend!!!!!!

It was a pleasant stay would recommend just keep in mind that this property (flat 4)a lot of stairs

Especially Location everything was near ,property was very clean complementary snacks fruits soft drink water were cosy all what you need to have a pleasant stay easy access and to find instructions very clear

It’s not that I didn’t like it’s just could do with some TLC in the two bed bedroom in flat 4 I believe that the landlord is aware as it’s something you can’t miss

Fantastic, modern apartment in a great location.

We booked 3 apartments in this block so that we could be with family over Christmas - each apartment exceeded our expectations in terms of space and facilities. We had a fantastic stay and really appreciated being able to be together. We had a lovely walk along the beach on Christmas morning which was so easy as it was on our doorstop. We also loved being able to see the sea and the pier from our living room.

Brilliant from start to finish

I liked the fact it had everything we needed, from an iron to a hairdryer, washing machine, dish washer the lot was like a home away from home. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk was provided, fresh fruit and biscuits. Even had wash stuff in the bathrooms. The apartment itself was really nice. Only thing I found a little uncomfortable was the sofa bed in the lounge

The place to stay in Clacton-On-Sea

The apartment is centrally positioned, a few minutes walk from the centre of the city with a private parking space. Quite safe area. Spacious, bright, sunny, equipped with all amenities that one would think off for a stay in a beach town. Fast and reliable WiFi, excellent phone reception. Nice well maintained garden, shared with three other apartments. A big plus is that we could bring our dog with us. I suppose we were not the first guests with a pet. Regardless, the apartment was spotlessly clean. Communication with the host was easy. Every question answered.

There was nothing to dislike, quite contrary.
