There are few options in Kakheti to stay closed to the nature, but nothing compares to Duende Hotel. It is located on the edge of the village, by the river in the woods. Houses and all the facilities are modern and stylish, though not like a luxury glamping. Hot tub that is available as extra is must try. Food (we’ve ordered dinner as well) is excellent, like at home not at the restaurant. And the owners also have their own wine cellar, very small. Their wine is one of the best we’ve tasted in Georgia. And we have tasted a lot.
Breakfast menu could have hot meals options as for me. Probably in off season the whole thing is slightly overpriced, but anyways it was great experience. Highly recommend to everyone who is tired of big cities.

We had an outstanding stay in this hotel. Its perfectly located in nature, where you disconnect with the world and live your best time in nature. You feel warm welcomed from the moment you step in hotel, with team giving full details and show place, facilities.
Room has a full view to forest and very spacious
Enjoyed our campfire evenings with yummy wine.
Delicious breakfast and walking to forest which is part of national park.
Nothing to mention here.

Very friendly hosts, nice quiet location
The toilet is super tiny and doesn’t even have a door, the ventilation in the cottage is very weak. The food is simple and tasty, yet overpriced, and you don’t have other options anywhere nearby
