The staff were so lovely and helpful--they kept the check-in desk open late for me as I wasn't going to be able to arrive in time for the 8pm cutoff and she was very sweet when I eventually made it. The room was a nice size, cute bathroom, quiet and comfortable and breakfast was very nice. I didn't have the chance to spend much time in the area but it looked to be very pretty and I had a delicious dinner of suckling pig with the crispiest skin I've ever had at the asador down the street. The drive to get there from Madrid was also stunning!
The 8pm cut-off for check-in seems to be very strict and I don't feel like it is sufficiently well communicated on booking's platform or communications from them. Had I realized, I would have organized myself differently, but, as mentioned above, once I got in touch with them, they were very helpful so it wasn't a problem.

The rooms were very clean
Not a spa hotel as advertised
No garden
Hard beds
Broken hairdryer and suspicious plumbing with very bad smell in the bathroom
The restaurant is over the road and very expensive - actually the worse menu del día we have ever had in Spain
No cafetería and everything in village closed so you can’t even buy a cup of coffee
