The historical buiding and little terrace to have the best breakfast! And we also had dinner there.

This has been one of our favorite stays on our trip so far, we absolutely loved this place. We felt like we went back in time. The room accommodated 3 pretty comfortably (we only had backpacks for luggage). The room was beautiful. The staff was amazing and the breakfast on the terrace was superb with an amazing view. I believe the property has 4 rooms, we crossed paths with the other guests when out on the terrace.
The location can be slightly tricky to find, but once found, is easier to navigate. Parking is on the main street in designated spots that are blocked off for specific guest houses. Then you walk up a fair amount of stairs to get to the property. We loved that it was right around the corner from the 1st wine window.
We also walked up to the castle, which definitely felt like a hike, especially because it was very hot. There are taxis you can take to the top as well. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The overall style & decor - super authentic place to spend the night. The hospitality of the hosts - even treated us to rakia on the house! The food was to die for! Amazing breakfast. That terrace has an amazing view & vibe to it. Parking was highly appreciated, although at the bottom of the hill (pro tip: pack smaller bags at the parking spot and walk up the cobbled hill to the accommodation with as little baggage as possible).
Not their fault, but reaching their front door is a small hike in itself.

Location, food, hospitality, balcony view
We stayed in a triple room on the lower floor. While the staff was kind and welcoming, unfortunately our experience with the room was not very comfortable.
The biggest problem was the noise: whenever water was flushed from the rooms above, we could hear it running loudly through the pipes in our room. On top of that, the room was right next to the balcony where guests ate and directly by the reception, so there was constant noise from people talking, eating, and checking in or out.
Another issue was the strong smell of frying food coming from the kitchen starting very early in the morning (around 6 a.m.), which came into our room and was unpleasant.
We also had several problems with the facilities:
• The shower did not drain properly. After one person used it, the next person had to step into ankle-deep water until it slowly drained away.
• The bathroom was very small for a triple bedroom.
• The room only had very small windows without proper curtains
• There were no bedside lamps, and the main light was weak with some bulbs burned out.
• In general, the room looked like it needed a touch-up and some maintenance.
• The mattresses were old, curvy, and not comfortable for sleeping.
