About this house rental
Nestled in Edisto Beach, this lovely house for $376 per night is a great choice for your next break. Family owned and loved - 5BR / 4BA - Sleeps 12 -Q, K, Q, 2 Singles, 3 Single + Twin Sleeper & Arcade "Life's Too Short" is located between Jungle and Jungle Shores, with the entrance from Jungle Shores. With plenty of parking under the house for 3 cars/boat and a gravel parking area at the house for overflow. Under the home you will find a hammock for relaxing and a grill for your outdoor cooking. With a side nice yard for a competitive game of cornhole or darts. You will also find a hot/cold outdoor shower conveniently located near the front steps for rinsing off after a day at the beach. You enter the house from the Jungle Rd side and are greeted with a beautiful great room, which opens on to the 1st floor screen porch. The 1st BR w/ Queen has a private door to the covered deck. There is also a full hall bath (tub/shower). The main level has the great room (living, dining and kitchen) and opens to a screen porch facing Jungle Shores. The centrally located stairs take you to the 2nd level. The master with king has access to the screen porch. The master bath has a stall shower, tub, a double sink vanity. There is a hall bath (tub/shower) for the 3rd BR - queen and the 4th BR- 2 Singles. On the third level is a large room with 3 Singles and twin sleeper, private bath with stall shower, and 2 newly added arcade machines with over 150 games including Golden Tee. Perfect for the children to enjoy playing games or watching movies. This home rents for weeks only (Saturday-Saturday) during June-July-August. Will rent for shorter stays during the off season (3 night min.) Full month rentals during the off-season are available at a discounted rate. With average temperatures in the 60s, Edisto Beach is the perfect off-season getaway! Wireless Internet Included. Other amenities include extended digital Comcast cable, HDTV/BluRay (TVs in 5 rooms), multi-zone audio throughout the house. 2 newly added arcade machines with over 150 games including Golden Tee. Those who subscribe to Sirius/XM radio, Pandora, and/or Netflix, bring your log-in information and enjoy your favorite music and videos during your stay. House was the perfect spot for our family to gather. Kids loved the top floor and the games. Kitchen was very well stocked with any appliance, pot/pan, utensil you would need. Great location for a quick walk to the beach or a longer stroll to the shops/restaurants. Hosts were easy to connect with and answered questions promptly. Had a wonderful time at Edisto Beach.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay. The house was SO clean!! Also, best part for us was the size of the closet in the King room…. It was like our 18 month old had his own bedroom which was so nice. The owners were very kind and quick to communicate. We would stay here again!

Life’s Too Short was perfect for our family gathering for my daughter’s surprise engagement. Very cozy with plenty of kitchen utensils, plates and cups, two coffee makers which we put to good use and other cooking needs.
Make sure to pack or pick up paper products and TP and of course bring your own sheets. (Or rent them). The walk to the beach is a nice walk and the screened porches are wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.

Our first stay at Edisto

Big, nice and comfortable
We were with a group of nine adults, and fit into the house quite comfortably. We did need one more chair at the dining room table, and there were not all the pots and pans we’d like for cooking for a large group (we enjoy “family style” cooking and eating with our friends). Still these were minor when compared to the whole experience, which was great.

Sisters on the loose!
Once a year, my three sisters and I get together with whatever of our family we can corral. We spend a week playing games, shopping, hitting the beach(if we are near one) and generally reconnecting in a way that is not possible through phone calls and emails. This house afforded us the closeness we craved while still providing plenty of space for us to slip off and recharge if needed. We come from all over the country and as we are now well into our 50’s we appreciate the gift of Time more than anything and certainly intuit the significance of the name of this home, “Life’s Too Short.” We are very happy to have had the privilege of enjoying this wonderful home for our reunion.

Nice home, broken up floorplan across three levels. The owner Jeff was very responsive and helpful. No real view to speak of. Also, this home is a duplex, attached to another unit in the same building. Fairly private still though. Furniture and decor is nice and clean but no extras, ie bikes, cornhole, golf carts, etc.

Nicely decorated, spacious, and very comfortable. Close to a beautiful and family friendly beach.
We had a wonderful stay. We saw the newly hatched sea turtles make their dash to the sea. Had a great time at the shag and shrimp festival at the marina. A nice place.

Top of the line accommodations.
This had to be one of the nicest places I've stayed in as the attention to detail, quality construction, and layout were perfect. My wife and mother in law both commented on the beautiful woodwork, doors, porches, and granite counters. And by being arranged on 3 floors, we could all eat and spend time together, or could have privacy if needed. The 2 screened in porches were a great place to spend time outside without worrying about bugs and the beach was only a short 5 minute walk away. This was a great place to spend a relaxing week of vacation and we'll definitely be back!
