Nestled in Edisto Beach, this attractive house for $426 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Comfortable living directly on the beach. Perfect beachfront location! 6 bedroom, 3 bath (1 King, 3 Queens, 2 singles and 1 twin-over-full-over-queen bunk) oceanfront vacation rental. Five of the six bedrooms are oceanview, with sliding glass doors out to porches with plenty of seating. Great Family Vacation gathering spot. Enjoy this newly renovated showplace with gorgeous ocean views. This is the South at its most charming, a premier beach experience. Steps away from a wide sandy beach. 4 covered porches with over 1,000 sq ft of outdoor living space. Ceiling fans, outside charcoal grill and enclosed outdoor shower with changing room. Please: No Smoking in the house. No House Parties! New 55" 4K UHD television! All bedrooms have TV's. Bunk room has desk and chair for remote work/study with very fast Internet. Weekly Rentals are on a Saturday to Saturday basis. Maximum occupancy is 15.

We had a wonder stay at the manor. The view is unbelievable and the sound of the waves is audible in all of the bedrooms. Communication with the owners was great and the house was very well appointed with everything you would need. We look forward to booking again soon.

This house seems to be designed specifically for a large family spending a week together at the beach. There are beautiful views of the ocean from almost the whole property, indoors and out. You can hear the surf even when doors and windows are closed. There is lots of comfortable seating in the large gathering room (3 big, leather 3-seater sofas)-- again with beautiful views. (Not always the case with these large homes -- some don't have adequate seating in a single room.). There is a lot of seating on the 2 decks that run the entire width of the house. Lots of beach equipment. The proximity of the jetty results in a wider beach at this site -- more sand. Well stocked kitchen. Close to grocery store. The only thing missing was a bathtub, which is the only thing I can conceive might be a deal-breaker for someone. They did have seats in the showers, however. And like any beach front property (I assume) you have to climb a flight of stairs to get into the house.
When we return to Edisto this is probably where we'll stay.

Loved, loved, loved our stay here! We came with our 3 kids ages 2-7, two sets of grandparents, and 2 uncles. The kids loved the triple bunk beds; we stayed in the queen room next to them, off the main living space; a bathroom with a small shower is on that level. The other 4 bedrooms were upstairs with 2 bathrooms with large showers. The kitchen had everything we needed, and it was nice to have some pantry items like spices & coffee already there. We brought beach supplies, but they provided plenty of towels, toys, & chairs, we could've left ours at home. So great to be right on the beach. Nice large enclosed outdoor shower -- we mostly showered our kids out there. Be aware there's no bathtub, if you have little kids, but that wasn't a problem for us. The house was cozy, but we had enough room to work a big puzzle on the dining table, eat outside, and cuddle up on the couches and not feel cramped. It was our first stay on Edisto, and it was so lovely -- no crowds (early Oct); walk or 5 min drive to the grocery store, ice cream, shops, and restaurants. Sweet little small beach town feel. Beach access was easy, though be aware it could be a bit steep for our family members who have some mobility/balance issues, but it kind of depended on the tide and how other people on the beach set up, since there was a particularly high tide during one of our days. Altogether amazing stay -- the house was near-perfect for us, and we hope to return again!

Island manor is amazing. Pictures point on, location couldn't be better. Communication with the owner awesome, the girls were having a hard time finding the packer game on sunday and pretty patient with us trying to figure the tv out! The only downside was having all adults in our group and a main floor bunk room.. limited options for a few of us with stairs issues.. i can't wait until i can visit edisto island again with family...

It is comfortable and thoughtfully arranged for everyone to spend time together and still have privacy when they want it. Breathtaking views, direct beach access. This was a great house for our family vacation. The kitchen was well stocked, the linens and beach towels were very nice, and the convenience of being beachfront was fabulous, especially with two babies! Rocking the babies on the porch while watching the ocean was the best!!

We had a fabulous family vacation with the location being perfect. The issue I had was saying it was a 4 bath when it actually was a 3 bath with outdoor shower. The A/C vents had condensation in the 2 baths even though the lowest temperature was 70. The house needs many updates but all in all we had a great 30 days of fun.

Only problem was that my wife didn’t sleep as much as usual. That’s because the sunrises were so amazing outside our bedroom that she was up early every morning to capture them. This colorful and comfortable home has magnificent ocean views and morning sunrises. Easy walking distance to several restaurants, shops and a Food Lion. Well-equipped kitchen and large dining room table. Towels, beach towels and linens are provided. Relaxing living room seating on three large leather sofas where you can watch TV or the ocean with ease. We hope to return again.

My extended family enjoyed the week between Christmas and New Years at this amazing property. My husband and I, our two teen boys, my mother and my brothers family of 3 and we all had plenty of space to be together or separate. Beds were so comfortable, nice linens and towels, lovely large clean updated bathrooms. The home is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of comfortable seating, the wifi worked well. We didn't cook much because there were so many fun restaurants within a short walk but the kitchen has it all-even fully stocked with coffee for our use. The beach is truly right there and we enjoyed the sunrise each morning, great shelling and long walks up and down the non-crowded beach. We also fished on the beach and at the park close by. Watched a resident dolphin swim by us. It's a beautiful area. Great parking with room for 3+ cars easily. We look forward to returning to the area and hope to come back to this home.

We loved the bedrooms. 5 of them faced the ocean. I loved the little room at the top of the stairs that had 2 loveseats & a builtin bookcase. I sat there several times, when the weather did not permit sitting out on the deck, reading a book. Our hosts were great. If we had a question, they got in touch with us in a timely manner. Great place! Would definitely stay there again & again.

202 Palmetto is steps from the beach. The house is stocked with all the necessities, plus some ,for a convenient and great beach trip. And, it is roomy, tastefully decorated with two porches perfect to watch sunrise over the ocean.

Our family has been visiting Edisto annually for nearly 20 years, as our family has grown, we needed bigger and bigger houses. Island Manor was the perfect size for our family of 13, ranging in age from 62 to 6. Each year every house we rented always had the one thing missing to make it a perfect vacation. Not Island Manor, all we needed was clothes and groceries. We look forward to making this our go to vacation home for years to come.

Can't say enough about this home. It is well designed, there is no crowding at all. So many "little things" included that made it easy for whatever you needed. And the beach/ocean right the back door? Please!!

Location and number of rooms and beds was spot on and accurate. I expected a larger house given the number of beds but it was quite cramped with all the furniture. House wasn’t ready at check in time (4) and we had to wait to get in. Loved the outdoor space until the wind got too strong at night. The beach was much windier than any beach I’ve ever been to and after day 2 of 7 I couldn’t get my kids to go back in the water because we all kept getting stung by jellyfish. Not the fault of this property but something noteworthy about the location. There were live insects of all sizes and varieties found all throughout the house from day 1 and every day after. Owner/property manager chalked it up to rain (which we didn’t have any) and said they just sprayed 2 weeks ago. We finally decided to leave 2 days early because nobody wanted to go in the jellyfish infested water and I didn’t want to stay inside with the insects. I had much higher expectations based on other reviews I have read about this property. I will never return to Edisto. Bad experience overall and definitely not worth the spend.

Home was exceptionally clean upon entering. Well-stocked with everything you could need! Kitchen items, plenty of beach towels, pillows, blankets. The closet full of beach chairs & umbrellas was so awesome. We loved being mere steps away from the beach- made for easy up and backs to refill the cooler or put out chairs. TVs in all rooms with Roku, lots of games & books. We loved eating on the porch overlooking the beach but the best spot is the upstairs porch off the bedrooms-saw some amazing storm/lightening shows from there. Quick bike ride to grocery, bike rentals, and more.
