Located in Mauna Lani, this lovely condo for $345 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Location, Location, Location with affordable Luxury! You will love staying at our beautiful and well maintain luxury second floor condo at the Palm Villas in the Mauna Lani Resort. Palm Villas is a privately gated, small complex centrally located in the heart of the Mauna Lani Resort. Overlooking the Historical Preservation Area with wonderful sunsets and an ocean view in the distance. Palm Villas has a resort style waterfall Pool and Hot Tub for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing. It also has a Clubhouse containing Fitness Facility and outdoor gas grill all among tropical landscaping short distance from our place. A 12-minute leisure walk on a trail to the royal fishponds and private Mauna Lani Beach Club or a few minutes drive to the private beach club. You will have Owners Beach Club card that will provide you access to special parking privileges and steps to the Beach Club which you will have access to complimentary cabana and chaise lounge beach chairs with wonderful snorkeling, white sand beach and calm waves. You can enjoy watching the whales in season, or the large sea turtles coming ashore to bask in sun. Enjoy lunch, snacks and drinks at the Napua Café/Restaurant. Our Hawaiian Plantation style condo has everything you need. Open spacious living area with vaulted ceilings and gourmet kitchen with designer cabinets, granite countertops and updated appliances. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and more to cook every meal imaginable. Dining room has a bamboo dining table that seats six comfortable for a family meal. The private lanai with its great view has a built-in outdoor gas grill with hood and wet bar with nice table to enjoy meals or just relaxing. The condo sleeps 6 very comfortably with King Size bed, Queen Size bed and two twin beds. The spacious master bedroom has a comfortable King Bed with en-suite master bath with over sized soaking tub plus a separate shower with double sinks and a walk-in closet. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms share the second bath with a shower/tub combination. All rooms have ceiling fans to take advantage of the tropical breeze and there is also Central Air available in the condo. For your excursions we have great containers to pack lunches and snacks and coolers and ice packs to keep them cool. We have beach chairs and umbrella along with snorkel gear, boogie boards and noodles. Rental includes everything you need including washer and drying along with detergent. A short walk or drive to the Shops at Mauna Lani, containing the Tommy Bahamas Cafe, and a wide variety of other restaurants, boutiques, galleries, and an ice-cream shop and other Hawaiian activities too. We have wireless high speed Internet, cable television and unlimited long distance (USA/Canada). Condo was tested for Mold on January 10, 2024, and the test came back negative for mold. The condo has never had a mold issue in its history. The review by the person is false and was done to slander me. Please view my response to the negative review. Hawaii Tax ID # GE-120-122-6752-01

We enjoyed our time in this unit. There were three good sized rooms that was perfect for 5 of us. The beds were a little hard but that is personally preference.
The kitchen was well stocked and we used both the rice cooker and slow cooker.
The view was lovely and we enjoyed out time on the Lanai.
The Mauna Lani are was great and we liked this area and close proximity to Foodland.
I would rent this unit again.

We had a horrible experience staying at this condo in August. There was a strong mold odor emanating from behind the washing machine that permeated two of the three bedrooms. The noxious smell gave us headaches and prevented us from sleeping. (There is no door to the laundry area.). When we used the water in the bathroom across the hall, we could hear water rapidly dripping in the wall behind the washing machine. We called the property manager and left a VM to report the water leak and mold odor. After receiving no response, I called the owner. The owner was extremely argumentative, admitted that he was aware of the water dripping but insisted there was no mold, despite the noxious odor. He told me the property manager was too busy to meet us at the unit and refused to refund the remainder of our 7-day stay.
Out of concern for our family's health, we scrambled to find another condo for the remainder of our vacation. Thankfully, we found another unit (and it was lovely, so we were able to salvage our trip). Although we stayed in this condo for less than 24 hours, the owner continued to send rude texts for the remainder of the week. I reached out to VRBO for assistance in obtaining a refund for the condo being uninhabitable, provided a video of the dripping water, and they reached out to the owner to request he issue a refund for the unused portion of our stay, but the owner still refused. We will need to file a lawsuit. Save yourself a headache and avoid this place.

Very comfortable and functional accommodations close to everything. Unit was clean and nicely decorated. Had a small hiccup with the AC, but the property management came out right away to fix it.
The pool is nearby and was very nice. 10 minute walk to the beach along a nice path through lava field and fish ponds (15ish with a 4 year old). Foodland and shops right nearby.
Beach gear in the garage, nicely stocked kitchen, BBQ grill worked great, fans in the rooms and good AC to keep cool. Garage comfortably fit a four door Jeep without any fuss.
Did not hear any of our neighbors and the neighbors below said they did not hear us, so that was nice. Middle bedroom was absolutely perfect for our four year old with the twin and additional slide out mattress.
Master bathroom is a little small/tight. If you're on the taller side, be careful not to knock down the pictures on the wall when standing up! (Sorry again)

Such a homey place. You can tell the family to owns the place truly love it. It's in such nice shape and comfortable. Everything you need and then some. This is our 4th unit at Palm Villas and it's one of the best. Staying in this unit with the view of the lava reserve is SO calming. We always dream of the moments we spend just quiet and relaxed on the lanai. Thank you for the perfect Hawaiian time

We love going to the Palm Villas, overlooking the lava. This unit is large, clean and has the amenities we look for. Access to the beach club with the swimming and snorkeling there is the way to go!

Palm Villas E-21 sits on the edge of a nature reserve with gorgeous sunset skies that silhouette the numerous palm trees that surround the ancient Hawaiian fishponds which are only a 7 minute walk away along the nearby pedestrian friendly paved trail - from dawn to sunset, the air is filled with joyous birdsong of the various bird species that live in and frequent the nature reserve -- another 5 minute walk beyond the fishponds is the fabulous and lifeguarded Mauna Lani Beach Club - gorgeous turquoise water safe for swimmers and snorkelers of all ages and skills -- the condo is professionally maintained with updated modern appliances and well stocked kitchen utensils -- the mattresses in all three bedrooms are very comfortable -- David is a very responsive and attentive host and his property management team , Karlynne and Zach, couldn't be more professional and welcoming -- the swimming pool in Palm Villas, which has a small and refreshing waterfall, is surrounding by a lush and mature tropical garden with plenty of shade for quiet outdoor afternoon reading -- Palm Villas is a tranquil and beautiful property to call home while visiting the Big Island -- we cannot wait to return next year

The condo was perfect for our group of 6. It was so easy to load up the provided beach gear ( loved having the wagon), drive just a few minutes and be at a wonderful beach. The nearby beach is calm and great for snorkeling. The condo had everything we needed. Our kids loved to walk around the complex daily to check on all the fruit trees. As a great bonus we had a perfect view of fireworks at the Mauna Lani resort on New Years Eve.

We stayed for then entire month of November and really enjoyed everything about the area and this unit. The unit is very well equipped in the kitchen, bathrooms and everything you need for visits to the beach. We became members at the fitness facility next door and our group used the facility every day. The gym included peleton bikes and the swimmers used the lap pool. Tennis and pickleball were favourites and we were able to participate in a pickleball tournament. Great active vacation for all. Thanks David for the use of your place. It’s wonderful.

We had a great stay here. The walks across lava fields, past fish ponds to a protected beach cove was the highlight. Beach equipment at David’s condo was a plus which allowed us to grab and go. All other necessary amenities were stocked and available. We all agreed we’d love to return.

Thank you David for letting us stay in your beautiful vacation home/condo. Layout is perfect 3beds-2baths with Lanai and bbq grill. We did our morning breakfasts and dinners at the lanai and we will miss it.
Washer and dryer a definite plus.

We did our morning walks to Fairmont Orchid hotel, Mauna Lani Auberge Resort, and Beach Club- and it was a great experience walking in the coast(beach)
Access to beach club was a plus. Good area to snorkel.
Close to Hapuna beach (4miles) named one of the most beautiful beaches in the Big Island- has good waves and perfect for boogie boarding.

They have coolers that you can use (small, medium, large, and larger)
Beach gear was awesome - chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys for young kids and cart to haul our beach gear. Snorkeling gear was also available but we brought our own.
I definitely recommend this unit if you are planning on staying at the Mauna Lani area.

Palm Villas is older than some of the other developments such as the Fairways, and a little dated. We did not realize when we reserved that the unit was on the 2nd floor with another condo below us. This was not a problem for us at any time, but did make us a little more self conscious about conducting early morning business back on the east coast. Palm Villas is well maintained, has a beautiful pool and closer to the beach and shopping center.
We always stay at Mauna Lani when in Hawaii and enjoyed ourselves very much at Palm Villas and this unit.

Very nice condo
We enjoyed our stay and found the property to match the description on VRBO. Swimming pool and exercise room were compact but very useable and never overcrowded. Only complaints were poorly functioning TV's and non functioning garage door control. We do recommend it.

Had a great stay! The area was very nice and safe. I was working remotely, so having the desk in the main bedroom was nice. I also stood a good bit at the kitchen island and worked on my laptop. Having drivable access to the “Owner’s Beach” was convenient and I even took a meeting on the beach. (This beach was the most crowded beach I encountered on my 3+ week trip around the Big Island but I had no concerns about the amount of people there).

we lucked out in choosing mauna lani as our base for exploring the big island. the property was perfectly maintained, the view from the lanai was wonderful, and it was a quick drive to the owners beach. perfect vacay

Having stayed at Mauna Lani in the past, I love the neighborhood- love the beach we have access to, love the roads and paths to walk and run on, love the restaurants and stores nearby. Waikoloa and Waimea neighborhoods are close enough to enjoy those markets and restaurants. So nice to have the beach gear provided by the owner- we used the beach towels, chairs, umbrella, coolers and ice packs. There is all the other stuff as seen in the pics. We rented a GMC traverse and it just fit in the one car garage so don’t go bigger than that! The owner was quick to respond in the booking process and during the trip (no issues- was asking where they had bought something I saw in the condo). Felt so lucky to be able to enjoy their vacation home.
