Lots of character. Vikram and his father were great hosts, interesting people and conversationalists, who offered advice for both Jaipur and the rest of my visit to India. It was nice to stay in a true family home, whilst still having your own space. The food was fresh, tasty and generous. Very well located.
One minor irritation - and it wouldn’t affect me staying again but is worth highlighting as feedback - was that a rickshaw driver was allowed to sit inside the Haveli waiting for me each morning on the assumption I would go with him for the day. It was unexpected and uncomfortable, especially as they reacted with significant disappointment when I declined and pursued me out into the street trying to persuade. Don’t get me wrong, this will happen everywhere in Jaipur, but it shouldn’t be within the safety of “home” in my view. I’m sure the intention of offering safe drivers is good but the approach left me feeling uneasy.

The staff is ready to assist with any needs you have. The Internet is very fast and consistent The meals are what the family eats. To ensure quality not only is the food made on site but the ingredients such as the paneer and flour are prepared in the home.
The haveli is located in the gem district of the historic center. You have a 15 to 20 minutes walk to many major sites. Tuk tuks are available for a short ride to more distant locations.
In short, a lovely historical building with excellent local vegetarian meals, comfortable lodging, good internet and an excellent staff who are ready to help you explore Jaipur. I enjoyed my stay.
This is not a negative for me, but do remember you are in the heart of a historic center in the ancient city of Jaipur. When you leave the grounds of the haveli you will be walking through narrow streets with cattle, dogs and many people living their lives. Watch where you step, life can be messy.

Well maintained family-run historic Haveli, in the heart of the Jaipur old town.
We had the beautiful room on the rooftop, spotless clean and tastefully decorated. Everything just worked fine, esp the modern conventions such as shower, aircon and internet. All the meals, incl. Breakfast, are home cooked and tasty. 2 out of 3 nights we had the dinner at this place (theres beer!).
Being in the old town means, the streets and the surrounding areas can be messy and direct access with a normal car is not possible (if you have been to India, you know what I mean).
The host already informed this to me prior to arrival and arranged a tuktuk to pick up us and the suitcases.
All in all, we will definitely come back here when we will be Jaipur again.
