About this condo rental
Nestled in Gig Harbor, this attractive condo for $149 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The Red Door is a 600sqft open concept one bedroom basement apartment with its own entrance and a Keyless Lock. A fully stocked kitchen, full size fridge and table for four. You look out into a private fully fenced back yard and greenbelt and sit by the fire pit under a completely covered deck. This apartment will keep you nice in cool in these hot summer months and then step outside and relax under the covered deck, a private fire pit surrounded by solar lights and grill to cook up your dinner. We are located one mile from the heart of downtown Gig Harbor. Walk down to the boat docks, rent paddle boards or kayaks, have the famous fish-n-chips at the Tides Tavern, listen to Tuesday night summer sounds in the park, Thursday's farmers market and stroll the shops. We are about 4 blocks from the Cushman Trail which you can take your pick which end of town you would like to explore, it's about equal distance to either Uptown Shopping center or North GH shopping. We are just 4 miles from Tacoma Narrows Bridge and 20 miles to the Southworth Ferry to Seattle. This property is also ideal for traveling professionals on an out of state project, traveling nurses, graduate college students, people moving into the state and looking for a place to stay while they house shop. Walk straight down to the harbor in 20 minutes and enjoy the breathtaking Harbor while strolling the shops and even stop at the Trolley Food Truck for a bite to eat. There is so much to do and see in this little town, we are surrounded by water and the nicest people you will come to meet. Gig Harbor has been ranked in the Top 20 Small Towns of America by the Smithsonian.

My husband and I stayed for a week while house-hunting in Gig Harbor. I worked from the apartment 3 of those days. Internet service was reliable. The kitchenette was well-stocked and had a nice Keurig you could use to make a full pot or a cup at a time. Brita pitcher in the fridge was a nice touch to avoid buying bottle water. Comfy bed. Nice bottle of wine awaiting our arrival. We cooked a few meals while there and found the appliances very functional. Troy Snook was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I even got to pet their dog Lucy and toss her a ball in their lovely backyard. We are returning to stay again less than a week later while doing business in the area. A testament to the enjoyment of our stay!

We stayed 9 nights while I was recovering from surgery. We couldn’t have asked for a more quiet, peaceful place to stay. Troy & Jolie were amazing hosts and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Their place is top notch. Very clean and the amenities were plentiful. Their yard is also beautiful and very well cared for. We would not hesitate to recommend to others and would love to stay again sometime. Thanks again Troy & Jolie!

We came up to say goodbye to our mother. Visit with friends we haven’t seen in years. What a wonderful peaceful stay. The backyards with the birds, squirrel, gardens and Miss Lucy. Thank you Jolie & Troy it was perfect! We will be back.

I stayed 3 weeks. It was very comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. The location was excellent close to anything I needed in town. I would certainly recommend this to anyone wanting a good place to stay in Gig Harbor.

This apartment was the perfect accommodation for us. It was beautifully furnished, comfortable, included every amenity imaginable, and then some. The private back yard was beautiful, affording a restful solitude from the busyness of life. The hosts were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would easily stay here again!

I had a weekend class in Tacoma and didn’t want to stay in town. This was a perfect distance out. The yard was beautiful. The dog was adorable. It was very quiet and close to good food. I’d stay again, it was very comfortable.

“The Red Door” was a perfect home away from home for 5 nights during our month long drive west vacation. We used this as a home base to take day trips to Seattle, Olympic National Park, Bainbridge Island and Mt Rainier National Park. We spent an evening in Gig Harbor for dinner as well. We couldn’t have asked for more from Jolie and Troy. In fact our plans changed at the last minute and we called to see if we could add another night on the front end of our stay. With only about 3 hours notice they accommodated and it worked out perfectly for us. Everything was great in terms of accommodations - comfy bed, full kitchen, access to do laundry, etc etc. with some “down time” while staying, we also went for a couple of walks through the neighborhood. Very nice area. Also, I think Lucy knew we were dog people and were missing our pups at home, on several occasions she came up to the screen door and stared at us waiting for us to come out on the patio for some pets and she even got playful and we threw her ball for her several times. Perfect on all accounts and would 100% recommend The Red Door and would stay here again if back in the area. Thanks Jolie and Troy!!!!!!

We needed temporary housing for an extended stay while we relocate to the Seattle area for work. We fell in love with Gig Harbor! Wonderful Suite
I arrived after a very long day of travel and felt immediately comfortable in this upscale little apartment. The whole place was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable. Troy and Jolie did a great job of making sure everything was just right, even down to the little details like having a locally made tea available for their guests.
This will be my first choice next time I am in Gig Harbor.
