Perfect location for getting to the slopes - a short 50m walk to the main gondola. Breakfast had traditional Japanese and Western options with slight daily variations. The room was excellent. Spacious and clean. Lots of amenities (coffee, tea, milk, toiletries, slippers) are provided. Easy to use laundry and very convenient dry room to store wet boots and clothes, making them nice and toasty the next morning when hitting the slopes. On-site private onsen. It was absolutely perfect - we did not visit any other onsens in the town as the private one cannot be beaten.

We loved our stay at Oyado Tamayura! The breakfasts were excellent and very filling, and the location is unbeatable if you are going up to the ski hill. The private onsens were out favourite part, other than the wonderfully kind and helpful owners.
