Nestled in Holetown, this lovely house for $186 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Located in the private Porters Gate community, No: 24 is a tastefully decorated and fully air-conditioned townhouse designed in vibrant Caribbean colours complemented by original artwork. Our stylish two-bedroom townhouse, each with ensuite bathrooms is both comfortable and inviting, perfect for getaways or extended stays. Featuring a private pool with spacious deck and state-of-the-art amenities, you will love the community offerings - swimming pool, lounge deck, clubhouse and tennis court! Minutes away from beautiful beaches and amenities, Porters Gate 24 is located in a prime position on the West Coast of Barbados. As you walk into the townhouse, the air-conditioned open plan living and dining area opens up in front of you with the kitchen fully outfitted with all you'll need while on vacation. Stairs to the left will lead you up to the two bedrooms and en-suite bathroom - each bedroom has A/C, a ceiling fan, and a private patio. Back on the ground floor the spacious open plan living area opens up to the covered patio with additional al fresco dining and comfortable lounge furniture. The pool glistens in front of you - a welcome sight in these sunny Barbadian days! Make use of the BBQ while you enjoy the pool. This is the perfect home for relaxing! There is also a communal pool and tennis courts available for all guests staying at Porters Gate to use. Less than ten minutes walk away is the beautiful "Juju's" beach (as known by locals) which has a great beach bar with casual food and drinks - an ideal spot for spending the day or sundowners. To the south there is also Colony Club beach and Holetown beach. A helpful property manager is a phone call away should you need a hand with anything, and a friendly concierge agent will be happy to make any on-island arrangements for you. We are island-based and knowledgeable about Barbados. Let us help you plan a fantastic holiday! Please note that 2 additional roll-away beds can be provided to increase the max occupancy to 6 guests. Each additional roll-away bed is $25 USD per night. *There is construction on the outskirts of Porters Gate that you may occasionally hear by the communal pool. We had a great stay at the house - it had everything we needed and our son loved the little pool. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the beach down a shady lane, and there's fantastic restaurants walking distance too. The buses stop at the end of the road for Holetown/Bridgetown so it's easy to get around without hiring a car. The guestbook inside the property has great local recommendations! The house is inside a gated development, a new development is being built nearby but we didn't hear any building noise from the property.

The villa itself is brilliant! The property is huge and had everything we needed for our two week honeymoon in Barbados. It was an excellent base for us to see the island and there was a large parking space right outside the villa for our hire car. It is well stocked with utensils etc., there is a large Massey supermarket a short drive away and it is a short walk to local restaurants and Holetown.
However we were disappointed with BSL and their communication. The number provided to contact them would ring out and they were slow to reply to emails.
Two men turned up at the back gate and said they were there to fix a new gate. This wasn’t communicated to us as guests and when we finally got through to BSL they weren’t very apologetic.
We had told BSL we were travelling for our honeymoon so for them not to acknowledge this in any way and to then organise for work to be completed in the villa on our first full day in the property was disappointing. We were also told it would take 30 minutes for the work to be completed and took nearly 2 hours.
One thing to note is the gardens of the neighbouring villas are very close together and it is unfortunate if you get noisy neighbours but obviously this just your luck.
The road in and out of the villa is bumpy at the moment but if you take your time it is totally fine - could do with better lighting for evenings but I imagine it will all improve when the construction work is finished and this didn’t bother us.

We spent 2 weeks here and had the most amazing time. The location is perfect as you can jump on buses easily or walk to beaches along the west coast. The pool was cold but the communal pool was much warmer so we spent a lot of time there. The villa is very well equipped and has a bbq too. It feels warm and homely and the communication was great with BSL rentals - we had a few issues but they were sorted very quickly. Wouldn't hesitant to return.

Nice property in the middle of several construction zones. Walking anywhere was a chore. Muddy streets and few sidewalks. Management company unresponsive to requests -dishwasher inoperative entire stay. Still no accounting of security deposit. Would not would not stay here again.

The property is exactly as the photos show on the VRBO site - I don't think the photos are modified in any way. The location is great - less than 5 minutes' drive from Holetown and close to a lot of great restaurants. The rooms are kept spotless and we found all the amenities we need. A private washer and driver is so nice to have in a tropical place. The bedrooms are nicely air-conditioned and extremely comfortable to sleep in. The living room is huge. I think the place can accommodate a lot more than a couple comfortably. The garden is well maintained. I see hummingbirds coming to drink at the flowers every single day and saw a green monkey walking on the fence on the day we arrived. The property manager, Kerrie, is fantastic - very friendly and responsive. We had a few requests to her, including an unusual request for a heavier comforter, which she addressed very efficiently and timely. We cannot thank her enough. The rental office also assigned us a concierge, Taunia. She was great in helping us secure a rental vehicle (hard to get during high season) and provided really good advice on destinations and restaurants. All in all, thank you for giving us a fabulous place to stay! We will be back!

The town house is comfortable and basic with a nice pool area. It is in a compound which can be a little noisy depending on who your neighbours are. There is a large grocery in Holetown about 10mins drive. A very nice French bakery that is about 15mins walk (only open in the mornings) and lots of beaches to walk to as well as other restaurants and a large shopping centre

We had a lovely time at Porters Gate. The house was large, clean, and the beds comfortable. We got help with taxis every time we needed it, communication was excellent. It was great to have some mosquito candles and repellent there already when we arrived, as well as dishwasher tablets etc. The pool guy as well as the cleaning lady were very friendly and thorough. Overall excellent value!

Great house with a well equipped kitchen and ice dispenser. There is private parking at the apartment. Pool is nice, garden is well maintained. You can see different birds and green monkeys occasionally.

Property was absolutely gorgeous. However the house had so many mosquitoes. I was bitten so badly I had a reaction. Woke up day after arrival with eye swollen from mosquito bite. I feel House should have been fogged before guests arrive.

A little suggestion which would be nice for people who have been traveling to supply milk, bread, juice, tea bags for people when they arrive. It would be a nice little touch.

24 Porters Gate is a beautifully presented and very well equipped townhome in a small gated complex near Holetown. The photos are very accurate and the house was a pleasure to stay in. The house has everything you could need for a few days or an extended stay. It is located within easy walking distance or a short drive from Holetown with all of the west coast shops, restaurants and beaches. Taunia was excellent in her communication from booking, right through to whilst we were staying at Porters. Check-in was very simple with codes to access the main gate and the lockbox to collect the key. Housekeeping was also excellent with regular linen and towel changes. All-in-all and thoroughly enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend the villa and of course BSL.

Upon arriving at Porters, we felt immediately relaxed and at home. Every effort was taken to equip the house with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We loved the little garden area, which was a peaceful place to relax having come in from the beach. The kitchen was well equipped and beds incredibly comfortable with beautifully pressed crisp cotton sheets. We found the area to be safe and secure. Remember to pack mosquito repellant and enjoy this beautiful island.

The BEST Villa in Barbados
We absolutely loved our time at Porters Gate. The villa was our perfect "home away from home" while in Barbados. It was spacious, clean, and perfectly suited for a couple or small family. We especially enjoyed the splash pool in the backyard! Our house keeper was so friendly and did a fantastic job. The staff managing our rental was very responsive and extremely helpful. They did everything to make sure our vacation went smoothly including organizing our rental car drop off. We cannot recommend the Villa enough!!!! It was perfect in every way!

We all had wonderful time staying at 24 Porters Gate. The house is very comfortable the A/C was brilliant and any problems were dealt with in a timely fashion. The pool was absolutely brilliant and we just loved it, and even though we travelled a very long way we hope some day soon to return as we loved Barbados we found the people there so friendly and helpful. All in all an excellent holiday.

This villa was above our expectations. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Barbados. Everything was spotlessly clean and Andrea from BSL was really responsive to any of our queries and sorted things out straight away. The check in was seamless and we even got a late check out. Porters is a gated community which felt very safe and is well maintained. Everyone we met was really friendly. It is a lovely community. With both our pool and the communal pool we didn't go to the beach too much, but is is only a short walk from the villa if you do want the beach. Thanks very much for a great stay.

We had a lovely stay at Porters Gate 24. Conveniently located just a few minutes walk from the beach and few minutes drive from Folkstone Marine Park (spectacular snorkelling destination) and Holetown (great restaurants and shopping). The unit was very clean, modern and well equipped. The backyard was a nice private oasis and the kids had a blast in the plunge pool. The owner and property management team were very kind, responsive and professional. Definitely recommend.

WOW. Rarely am I this impressed by a level of service demonstrated once - nevermind consistently - over a two week period. Shain, Kerrie and the Blue Sky Luxury Team achieved what few rarely do day after day - they continuously displayed personable, professional attention to detail and responsiveness of service. From the fast track at the airport, to stocking our kitchen, ensuring prompt repair of washer/dryer issues, suggesting best beach spots, amazing taxi service ... no question went unanswered! Porters Gate 24 on its own was an oasis of a home away from home that was elevated to a higher level with BSL's platinum service. The pairing of the two provided us with a blissful, fun-filled, relaxation inducing experience that we'll crave again and again. Blue Sky Luxury is now synonymous with Barbados! Thank you for setting the standard so high!

Just spent two weeks in Porters 24, very nice well equipped unit. ac works great, pool was nice at the end of the day. We used the bbq a lot. would definitely return.

Lots of choice - poolside or a short drive to seaside
Great place to relax and enjoy time with friends and family. A little too far to walk to the beach, however, it’s just a short drive. Great restaurants a few minutes drive away also. The small plunge pool is handy and the larger complex pool is lovely.
The property is well kept and it is in a quiet, peaceful, safe neighbourhood, where the monkeys roam freely and can be seen in the early morning (7:30-8:00).
Townhome amenities are ok, could be stocked with extra little things for guests. ie: beach chairs, water toys, cards, etc.
Housekeeping comes at random times and not often, but not really a big deal except on check-out day.
We would recommend this place to our friends and family. We love Barbados (that was our 15th trip) and will return again within the year.

Excellent villa has every thing you need for home from home accommodation. A little sun trap, just a tip sun has gone by 3pm, if you need more sun, then the beach is just across the road or on site pool. You will need a car to get out and about- we had one for a week and explored the island. Loan Ranger and Top Deck are the nearest bars, and Holetown is only about 20 mins walk, or the bus on main route. BSL are excellent and always on hand to help out, Shain was my contact and was very helpful. Villa on a nice gated complex and extremely safe. I would recommend this property.
