Great place to explore the island from

Pascale was a lovely host, and the apartment has all you need for a few days’ stay. Pascale lives in the same building so it was very easy to communicate. The location is very convenient, right on one of the main routes so pretty much every corner of the island is reachable if you rent a car. Would happily recommend.

Great place to stay to see the real Antigua

The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and there's AC in the bedroom. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. It was lovely to eat breakfast at the table in the garden watching the hummingbirds and bananaquits flit around. I particularly enjoyed lying in the hammock reading a book. Sadly we were too early for the mangoes, papaya and bananas which we could see growing in the garden! Pascal was away so we were looked after by his sister Judith and her husband William, and they couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. They met us at the airport and took us to the supermarket on our way to the cottage and the car we'd arranged to rent from Pascal was waiting for us. The central location means the cottage isn't far from any part of the island, but the roads are poor so it takes longer than expected to get anywhere!

The best place to stay in Antigua!

Everything! Pascal and Sueli are incredibly accommodating and wonderfully welcoming. I enjoyed my time thoroughly at Tropical Garden, the cottage is perfectly laid out with everything you could possibly need. I even had some fresh fruits from the garden in the fridge which were so tasty! The whole place is very clean, the bed in the room is so comfy, and the AC worked perfectly! This place is an absolute gem! Make sure to stay there if you are visiting Antigua. It's in the centre of the island so it's a perfect place to drive everywhere from, but make sure to rent a car, Pascal can help you with that and also advice on where to visit! I 110% recommend staying here you will not regret it and I'll be going back when I'm next in Antigua!

Cosy, clean and comfortable. The hammock out on the patio was heavenly in the evening when the breezes come in. The fruits in the garden were delicious- the host encourages guests to eat all they want which is awesome!

The location was a bit distant from St John where I had meetings

Todo fue muy grato. el jardín, las instalaciones de la casa, los múltiples detalles.A wonderful stay. Pascal is a wonderful host and makes everything as easy as possible. The house is full of details and the garden with the fruit trees is a delight. It is located in a strategic area of the island, very close to anywhere. The visit to his farm was a very pleasant surprise. Without a doubt, I would stay at his house again, I hope it will be very soon.

A beautiful home with an amazing garden with tropical fruits. our hosts have been very kind, welcoming and helpful with advice for visiting Antigua. The space in the apartment is well thought and it’s all well equipped. Wi-Fi was fast. the location is central and ideal to explore the island by car.

smoking was not allowed on the property and we couldn’t enjoy the lovely terrace

it’s located in the centre of the island so it easy to access every part of the island within 15-30mins drive. the host pascal was excellent. he organised car hire and airport taxis at good prices and the fresh fruit he gave us was amazing.

This is definitely a MUST HAPPEN AGAIN for me.

I liked everything that I could have seen on this short stay. From the size right down to the cleanliness and friendly faces that greated me. This is a very beautiful home away from home. I will surely recommend!!

The only thing I did not like was the fact that my stay was just over night and I couldn't explore the outdoors as I would have liked but I will surely be back so that is not a problem.

I enjoyed my stay at Tropical Gardens, the scenery is great, makes you feel at home surrounded trees

I liked the setting in a natural surrounding with green fruit trees, Coconut trees. The owner even gave free access to the fruits on the property. You can become one with nature in that environment.

The price was a bit steep and it is quite a distance from the VC Bird International Airport. But to be fair the owner more than made up for the price with his generousity.

The cottage is charming and well equipped but what makes this place so special is the beautiful garden where you get to partake in whatever fruit and vegetables are in season. Pascal is a great host and goes out of his way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.

Pascal and Sueli are an amazing and catering couple who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. They not only are your hosts for this stay, but will become lifetime friends. I recommend this cottage, not only for its fair price, but for the Antiguan experience. Many beaches are also 20-25 minutes away from here, as this location is the center of Antigua.

The bungalow suited us. Without a car hire we may not have used this location but the owner had 2 cars for hire, so no problem. Bungalow was very clean, modern and the owner very helpful Everything needed was present.

Great Hosts in Pascal and Sueli, fantastic location and exceptional attention to detail.

This was a self catering cottage, however Pascal did bring some fruit fresh from the tree for me to eat.

The cottage was very well equipped. The hosts we wonderful- nothing was an issue they could not help with or sorted for us. Good central location- plus availability to rent a vehicle from the hosts. The garden was fantastic.

Great stay in a quiet village with excellent host in excellent facilities

It was one of the best and practical equipped accommodations that I have stayed - it has everything is needed. The host was superb and assisted in a great way !! Definitely walked the extra mile !!!

It is a little bit out of the way if you need to go to the cricket stadiums and the beeches, but the excellent host took me there with his car while he was preparing for a meeting!! It was much appreciated !! The options is also there to rent a car

Lovely cottage, lovely host, fantastic fresh coconut for breakfast. Would love to return one day.

Pascal is the best host and was so helpful- from arranging our pre-travel Covid tests to hiring his jeep, and everything in between. The apartment is spotless, comfortable and well appointed with outdoor space to relax in.

We chose this property because of its central location but you do need transport to get around the island. There is public transport available but we chose to hire the jeep which was excellent value.

Beautiful home and an incredible host

I could not have hoped for a better home and a better host for my two week stay in Antigua. Pascal went out of his way to make me comfortable, ensure all my needs were met, and to introduce me to the island. If I come back to Antigua, I would not look past this apartment! The patio, hammock and garden were a real highlight, providing a really relaxing environment to pass the days in blissful sunshine. The apartment had everything you could need, great AC, well equipped kitchen, and a comfortable bed with ROKU tv for the evenings. Also it’s location in the middle of the island makes it so easy to explore each corner of Antigua with a car! Pascal made sure I knew he was on hand for anything I needed assistance with and he always responded to my questions lightning fast. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

It is close to a main road but, as another reviewer has written, the centrality of the apartment is part of what makes it so great.
