Dog Friendly Hideaway In Bear ValleyThis pet friendly unit boasts old school charm with everything you need to enjoy a break from the "real world". Cozy up on the large sofa with a great book, the fire will keep you warm in the winter, or enjoy the tree views in summer. This condo is located right behind the Cross Country and Adventure Company and Bear Valley Snowmobile, where you can rent equipment for year round outdoor activities. Also in walking distance to the lodge, general store and other village amenities. Park your car right in front of the building and don't get back in it until you are headed home! This one bedroom unit offers a queen bed as well as large windows for plenty of natural light in the morning. Come Enjoy all that Bear Valley has to offer. Fantastic!
Tamarack #5 is compact and very well appointed. The bedding is super comfortable, both the mattress and the linens. The kitchen is very efficient with everything you might need. And the small size makes packing out a breeze!

Evacuees with kitties
Called ahead to BV Realty so we knew we had a place to stay, and had to get out in a hurry. We were bowled over with the kindness and flexibility of Ellen at BV Realty. The condo had amenities we as fire evacuees did not expect and it was such a relief to us and our kitties. Butte Fire not done yet so if we have to go back, we will most definitely ask for Tamarack 5. Many,many thanks!

Nice location
Enjoyed Walk to music festival and short drive to beautiful lake Alpine for kayaking and lunch. Bring provisions as Bear Village has small selection of groceries and had to wait until 9:00 for store to open to get coffee. The condo was fine for 2.

Really sweet condo. Perfect for 2
Even though the condo initially seemed small it turned out to be just perfect and cozy for my husband (Greg) and myself (Lesley) only thing we forgot was the firewood for the fireplace.

Great Stay
Had a wonderful time Snowboarding in the great Stanislaus National Forest. I also really enjoyed the fact that dogs were welcome. I do intend to stay again!

Sweet little condo in the woods!
Quaint condo with a lovely little view, we snowboarded in the morning and in the afternoon we sat and watched a movie while it snowed outside our window.

Tamarack Condo 5 was accurately described and provided a great place to stay for the long weekend. The condo was quite comfortable, pleasant and well cared for, the wifi signal was flawless. I would definitely stay there again when I return to Bear Valley! Service from the staff in the vacation rental office was excellent!

Fine condo and great service
The condo was as advertised, except that the phone was non-working. The service at the office was excellent.

Served our purpose
The primary reason we rented this small condo was because we could bring our beloved family dog with us. For that, it worked out great. Other pros were: heater worked great, clean fridge, good location, good shower head, fireplace, acceptably clean, board games available, and all necessary dishes, pots, and utensils were provided. Cons: kitchen sink disposal did not work at all, and when they sent sent someone to fix it, it was plunged and was then slow-draining for the remainder of our stay, but never actually fixed. This made all cooking and dish washing tedious, and made using the dishwasher impossible. Also, there's too much bulky, random furniture for a place with so little square footage (extra ottomans and futons that don't actually work as beds). One more pro: although this is a pet-friendly condo, it was clean, and there was no evidence of any previous four-legged guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I would stay here again if I was again traveling with my dog.

The receptionists at BVRE who's name I forgot unfortunately was very nice and accommodating who personally cleaned the room for my stay on short notice. Kudo's to her! The room was comfortable and cozy. Thanks so much! Aaron

Warm and cozy, the Wifi worked wonderfully. The shower head needs to be renewed but it’s the only thing that wasn’t great.

Great Stay
We had a wonderful stay in Bear Valley. The condo was clean and a perfect location to walk everywhere. The bed was comfortable and the building was quiet so we slept great. The condo had all the amenities we needed to cook our own meals. The staff at Bear Vally Rentals were very helpful and informative. Thank you, we will be back.
