Gem in the Heart of Colmar

The location is wonderful with everything being just a short walk away! The home itself was the most spacious place we stayed at during our 2-week European adventure. Beds were comfortable, A/C felt marvelous (it was hot when we were in France), plenty of room for all of us to move around and all needed amenities were there. What a gem.

In the home, one of the restroom doors wouldn’t lock as everyone kept accidentally walking in on someone in the room. We just learned to tell everyone when we’d be using that restroom. It also took us a bit of research to figure out how to use the washer/dryer. A manual would have been helpful. If there was one there, we weren’t able to locate it. Other than that, all was terrific and we had an excellent stay!

There are many other good hotels to choose,but not this one!

Please be careful with your money! ! If you want to manage apartments part-time while traveling, this apartment is a great choice! When we check in & check out, we have to rely on ourself because no body is there. At the beginning, we found that there was no wifi. After contacting, we even helped to switch the power supply of the apartment, but it couldn’t be solved. Finally, they gived us the Internet upstairs, but the signal was so weak that it was intermittent. We were forced to use our own paid network. The washing machine was also not working properly, and it still didn't work after spending a lot of time, so I had to contact again. It turned out that there was a problem with the door, and a special technique had to be used to close the door. When we left, we cleaned up the dishes and garbage according to their regulations, all by ourselves. Suddenly got a phone call after leaving, accusing us of breaking their toilet lid and leaving as if nothing happened. But the crack on the toilet lid was originally there, and I saw it at 23 o'clock the night before yesterday, because it didn't affect the use, we didn't deal with it specially, just like the broken wifi and washing machine, they were regarded as poorly managed equipment. Unexpectedly, they put this matter on us, regardless of our description, and charged from the credit card they obtained from booking before without our authorization! ! They manage in the loosest way, and if there is a problem, all they need to do is deducting money from the unlucky lodger! ! Even we argued to booking.com , the host Ignore accordingly. All they want is $$$$$$$$$$$$,not the truth. If you want to choose the apartment, remember to check all the equipments in the entire apartment first, so as not to pay for their loose management when you leave! !

Great place, no internet

It was clean and big. Great location!

The internet didn’t work. I contacted them and they were going to look into it, but it never worked. The cellphone signal is also really bad.

Excellent location, spacious apartment

Loved the location! In the old part of town, but away from all the action. Very quaint street with groceries, restaurants and a pharmacy right nearby. Public parking just a minute's walk. Great layout for groups, with two double bedrooms and a bunk room that sleeps four. Kitchen is well-stocked with appliances and utensils, and living area is comfortable for a larger family. The air conditioning worked beautifully and was appreciated!

There is a cleaning fee of 120 euros per stay. Just be aware! I was not, as I did not pay attention to the last little step where it was stated before putting the payment through. The host kindly offered to cancel the reservation free of charge, but we kept it. For one night and a group of two mothers and two daughters who spent little time in the apartment, it was very high. The beds are not the most comfortable, and there is not a stand up shower (although there are two very large and comfortable bathtubs!). All in all I would recommend this apartment for a family or two traveling together, especially for a longer stay.

Exceptional

Great location. Felt very cosy while we were experiencing negative temperatures outside. My daughter called it "the best thing ever". Might have to do with the number of TVs too!

Overall, satisfied.. Superb stay!

The location.. In the city centre. Close to supermarket, parking area.. Very convenient.

No hot water at toilet room. Shower tap works fine.

Exceptional

Clean, clean and clean. For those who have OCD, this is the place to stay. Colmar is not a big town but to be in the heart of the beautiful old town is such a treat. Walking into a postcard in the morning to find so many bakeries around. Adeline was super super helpful and easy to communicate with. Heating flooring is great when it is cold out. Cute deco and functional kitchen. Great with a group of friends and families with kids. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

Very good

The apartment is quite new and modern. It's able to be accessed by elevator. There are 2 separated bathrooms and 2 toilets. It's perfectly sufficient for family or group of 6-8 people.

WIFI internet connection is slow and not stable.

If we even come back to Colmar, we would return for sure

This apartment had absolutely everything that we could have possibly needed to be comfortable and comfy. There was a nice supply of coffee, well stocked kitchen, and a clothes washer and dryer (which was VERY useful to us)

Master bedroom bed wasn't all that great.

The location is perfect. The bathrooms were quite nice. We enjoyed eating marmalades in the fridge for breakfast.

Rooms facilities/design were so basic. It looks nicer in the pictures.

Very comfortable apartment right in the city center

The apartment itself is perfect. You get everything you need. The location is amazing.

The soundproofing is not good. I heard an alarm clock ringing from the next apartment. I didn’t get any information about check-in before arrival. I think that check-in at 5 pm is too late

Great comfy place, great location.

The location was great. We fit our two families in perfectly without feeling cramped. It was a very hot day and the air conditioner worked really well. We have already recommend the place to friends.

This is the perfect apartment for a large group. We had eight adults (four from Germany and four from the United States)

We loved location, the closeness to the shops and restaurants, the fact that it was close to ground level with elevator access, etc. We liked the contemporary kitchen, the easy access to the washer and dryer, etc.

The apartment smelled a little musty upon arrival and the kitchen sink drain was smelly. At first we did not know how to open and shut the blinds in the living room (it’s a different technology than in the U.S.). It would be helpful to have directions near the windows. One of our guests remarked how harsh and bright the lighting is in the hallway. Maybe that could be toned down?

Very good

Location was amazing. Nice and modern, everything you could need. Ideal as a large family. We loved that there was separate toilet to the bathrooms. Facilities were brilliant. Beds were comfortable. Checking in and out was super easy. The host gave us the address for the closest parking and it was only a couple of minute walk. Just a small couple of improvements and it would be 10 out of 10

The floor wasn't as clean as it could have been. Nothing major, and not a deal breaker for us as everything else was great. The bedroom off the living space had a roof light which had no blind (that we could find) so we were woken up early by the light. It was defused by the canopy above the bed but still bright enough to wake us. Take a sleep mask if in doubt.

Beautiful apartment in a perfect location!

Beautiful apartment in a wonderful location for our family of six! Parking was very close, the elevator was so helpful getting our four young kids and our bags upstairs, and so thankful for the washer and dryer. Being so close to Parc du Champ de Mars was a big hit for our kids! The carousel, the fountains, plus the playground made for wonderful nights! The apartment had everything we needed and it was so nice to have a kitchen stocked with great knives and utensils! Would highly recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect, but the only thing was the lack of a true shower. There were two wonderful bathtubs (the one upstairs was so great!), but it was hard to take a quick shower.

Excellent place to stay in Colmar.

Location was perfect - central to the old town and within easy walking distance of all amenities. The property was spotless, a good size and we liked the fact that there were plenty of towels!
