Don't be fooled by the published photos, we don't see the dirt and inconvenience.

NOTHING

DO NOT RENT ANY HOUSE FROM GLOBAL STAY, very poor service and unclean houses and look at the other reviews and you will see we are not the only ones. We rent 2 houses from August 14th - 21st, 2023 and both houses have the same issues: The check-in process is complicated The 2 houses are extremely dirty with dirty dishes Bugs in both houses Unkempt yards Air conditioning not working Cold water in hot tubs Sheets hanging out in the dryer, not rammed and worst of all, the 2 houses have leaky roofs on the 2nd floor with musty smells. We clearly made the deduction that this company doesn't clean their houses well and that it's not an oversight on the part of the maintenance person to have cleaned a house badly, it's a very low standard for cleaning, maintenance of the house and their appliance, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Don't be fooled by the published photos, we don't see the dirt and inconvenience. After 24 hours we had had enough, we had no other choice, we looked for another place to stay as this house was no longer safe for us. We found hotel rooms for the next day, so we slept another night of anguish in this house. Following our departure, I sent several emails with claims and requests for refunds, with no response for days. Then I received an e-mail from a manager informing me that we had done damage to the houses concerned. They deducted a cleaning fee for the couch and carpet from our $500.00 deposit that we had made for one of the houses. It took 14 days for them to reply that we had done damage ?? The couch and carpet were already dirty when the occupants arrived and they dared to say that we were responsible. We now have to go to court to claim a refund.

Customer service was poor. In addition they charged us for not washing the toilets, sweeping and cleaning despite emptying the trash. And if the customer doing the cleaning is a requirement, then it should be stated upfront.

The security deposit wasn’t return and this is a scam.

Ac wasn’t working , Wifi wasn’t working , the property owner made false accusation about a damage of a hot tub we didn’t even touch.

It was a short stay because of the circumstances. I would definitely like to return in the future.

The home was beautiful , the emenities was great. We found everything we needed to our disposal .

On May 12th when we checked in the A.C. was not working, we called the host to communicate that it was broken, they tried TROUBLE SHOOTING the problem but nothing worked. We went to bed that night with no A.C. This was very stressful because we were traveling to Canada for my Dad’s funeral. MY RECOMMENDATION would be to have portable air conditioners in the apartment or ceiling fans to keep the guests cool if there was an issue in the future with the AC. The problem was resolved the following day while we were out.

Good location.

Damp laundry had been left in the dryer for???? A long time! When I opened the dryer to dry a load I had wash a terrible musty order emerged. I let the host know as a courtesy - the dryer would need to be thoroughly cleaned before used again. I had to hang my clothes to dry. When I checked out the host charged me $30 for using 2 of their garbage bags...."are you kidding me"?! When I mentioned my dryer inconvenience, it did not matter. Also, the toilets did not flush properly.

Exceptional

"It was a great vacation! It is very convenient to unite the whole big family in this cozy house. Three bedrooms, but the bedroom with the king bed was taken over by the children, of course )) The house has many cozy spots to sit down and chat about life. There is enough space in the kitchen for anyone who wants to help prepare food. There was no time to get bored, we took advantage of all the amenities: a sauna, a gym and a hot bath for the daredevils on the back yard. We drove to Niagara Falls - 45 minutes and we are at the 8th wonder of the world !! I want this place for a Christmas holliday!"
