Unexpectedly Good

My times Spent Here was absolutely amazing and I would 1000% recommend anyone to go to this place, nice, welcoming host whom made sure all needs were met. All facilities were well kept and the view of the ocean was amazing I will definitely be going back there often in the near future

Stay at a world class beach property being hosted by an amazing family!

Brilliant location with private access to a beautiful public beach would alone be 10 stars worthy, but in combination with amazing hosts makes it a 11+ star spot!

Safe, accommodating, well supplied, private and overall wonderful!

Beach front access with amazing views, bus is steps away, host is wonderfully friendly, responsive and accommodating. Kitchen is well equipped - get groceries in hole town at the market otherwise only a convenience store down the road. A quick bus ride will get you there and back. A beach towel, beach chairs, beach picnic bag, freezer pack, etc. everything you’ll need. the A/C is great and the place is very secure and safe. A perfect place for a single or couple.

Relaxing, safe area and well equipped apartment.

It was a fantastic location 2 minutes from the beach, use of an elevated sea view patio. Owners live above the apartment so it was easy to ask for advice etc.

Perfect location and everything you need for a few nights and great value for money.

The location was excellent and right on the beach. It was close to Holetown which was great. The accommodation was clean and secure and fully equipped for what we needed. The owner (Clive) was great. His communication and help was so helpful and the welcome drink was very much appreciated.

On a busy main road so rush hour time was slightly tricky, but it wouldn’t put us off of thinking of booking again in the future.

The perfect spot in St James

I had previously stayed at a different side of the island and St James is the swanky part of town. The beach adjacent to the property was terrific and when snorklling, you can see small fishes close to the beach. The apt was kitted out with appliances I wouldn't have expected, including blender. There was even a place to catch a sunset view

St James is further from the town than I expected. Taxi's are more expensive because of the distance but there are many buses. I'm glad I had the chance to stay on the West side of the Island. I don't like to go someplace and only experience a limited part. There are buses straight to Oistins so there is no shortage of transport !

Lovely homestay in peaceful area.

Host is great, location is lovely, room is clean and comfortable. Can't knock this place for a homestay. It is a basement apartment beneath a lovely family. The host provides deck chairs and towels and local advice. It's on the main road which is handy for buses and surprisingly fairly quiet. I would highly recommend this place. If you stay anywhere on Barbados you really should take advantage of the local transport. This place is great but I'd suggest using the frequent buses to try Speightstown and other areas for a bit more life and to just experience more than one location. It is so easy to get the buses from this property and there is so much within a short ride north or south. Also, not that I used them, but this place has FULL kitchen facilities and (American) cable TV.

Fantastic location by the beach; local bus routes on your doorstep, giving access to the whole of the island; and hosts that really go out of their way for you to enjoy your stay. I could not recommend this guesthouse more.

Excellent location and hosts for a peaceful West coast stay

The property was in excellent, clean condition with everything we needed already provided. They kindly offered to do a load of laundry for us As a beautiful added touch, it was our wedding anniversary during our stay and our room was thoughtfully decorated with balloons, petals and a swan/towel love heart! Clive even treated us to a couple of glasses of delicious rum punch on arrival, what more could we ask for.

We weren’t aware that the self contained apartment was lower ground floor, so we didn’t get as much of the island breeze to cool it down. However there is air Con and a fan provided- it’s simply a personal preference to have a natural breeze!

This is something everyone who has the chance should definitely experience, You will just love it.

Location, ambience, the way the property is well maintained and the overall decoration! As a person who works at a large resort, this property really had me amazed, It seems as though every thing was thought of. Honestly I have to say the only thing larger properties have on WestSkye is the size and staff.

That I was only there for such a short stay because of my need to return to work and other commitments.

Great beach getaway near Holetown

The apartment is extremely well equipped with all the necessary appliances and kitchen utensils, e.g. a full set of sharp kitchen knives - something you don't often find in holiday rentals. We also liked the little terrace with easy chairs overlooking the beach - great for morning coffee and sundowners.

They couple who owns this apartment were phenomenal . The service received was exceptional.they went and beyond to show me around took me to the supermarket also to get my passport size photo at late night thanks to them

everything. it had every possible thing we would need to make our stay comfortable. the hosts are just INCREDIBLY AMAZING! Super fun to talk to, always there when we needed anything, and they were amazing tour guides on top of everything. such an amazing family. I will recommend that place to everyone I know and even the ones I don't know!!!

Exceptional staying with attention to details, super clean and comfortable, 10/10!! Seafront!

We very much appreciated all the small nice details, the hosts really care about making their guests as good as possible during the stay. The house was full of attention for details and this really made the difference, such as lot of safety measures (fire extinguisher, first aid kit), lot of fun (there was a dartboard super funny, as well as domino game and plays cards). The house was extremely clean and it smelled good all around. The air conditioning is working super well and make all the house cold, as well there is another electric air conditioning in the living room. Every corner had so many details, such as a small electric lamp lantern style on top of the living room door there to be used by guests if you want, the stereo as well, tv, etc. The kitchen has all you need about cutlery and pots etc, microwave, oven, fireplace, water boiler etc. The hosts also provide some essential in the kitchen such as oil, salt, tea bags. They also provide some fresh water as we arrived in the fridge. We appreciated sooo much the additional things offered by the hosts especially two sunbeds and the sun umbrella! The house has private access to the beach, so lovely. From the apartment you can hear the sea waves and that's amazing, the sea is right in front of the apartment. The host always helped us when we had to exit the parking, that was very kind. They allowed us to park exactly in front of the house. They clean every 3 days, they provide plenty of bath stuff such as lots of towels. The shampoo and conditioner were professional ones so your hair really do not get damaged because of the sea and salt, there was a nice and powerful hair dryer too and not one of those small that you used to find at most hotels. There was also a bag with a towel for the sea. I mean, the house and hosts could not have been better that that. This is the best house I've ever stayed during holidays and I am a good traveller.
