Hilltop can accommodate 6 guests comfortably with 2 bedrooms with 1 king size bed and 1 queen sized bed, 1 full size futon in the loft area, and 2 full bathrooms. The master suit bathroom features a 2 person Jacuzzi tub and stand up double shower. It also features a fully equipped kitchen with all major appliances. Enjoy modern amenities such as flat screen TV’s, satellite service, free internet, and a large 6 person outdoor hot tub. Hilltop Cabin offers all the comforts of home such as washer/dryer, linens provided, and central ac/heat. If you’re lucky you might catch a glimpse of the local wildlife such as rabbits, birds, and deer that frequent the surrounding property. Hilltop is conveniently located to all major attractions. Spend the day hiking the Shenandoah National Park, touring the Luray Caverns, or splashing down the slides at Massanutten Resort's year round water park. Local outdoor activities include horseback riding, wineries, breweries, zip lining, canoeing, river tubing, fishing, site seeing, and much, much more. After a full day of fun and the sun sets over the mountain throw a steak on the propane grill and enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub. After the sun sets and the stars illuminate the sky enjoy the outdoor fire pit area and don`t forget the marshmallows. Whether your seeking the thrill of the great outdoors or just want to get away from it all Hilltop Log cabin is where memories are made to last a life time! Hilltop cabin is located on Crooked Run Road Shenandoah, Virginia. All roads are paved except for the inclined gravel driveway leading up to the cabin. We recommend all wheeled or four wheel drive vehicles however, some drives have no issue maneuvering the graveled driveway in a front wheeled drive vehicle. Please ask before bringing motorcycles. The owner is not responsible for road conditions due too inclimate weather.

We had a wonderful time at the Hilltop! The home was beautiful and comfortable and we are looking forward to planning a return visit. The only small complaint we had was the fact that the trash had not been removed from the outdoor trash cans, when we left, we had to leave trash sitting on the porch because there was no room in the cans.

We really enjoyed our stay. We mostly spent our time hiking in the national park. It was very relaxing t come back and spend a few minutes in the hot tub soothing sore muscles. We made our meals here rather than eating out. The kitchen had all the tools we needed. It had a k-cup coffee machine. I was glad I packed my own k-cups. The master bed mattress was very soft. The place is well insulated. We brought firewood and had a fire pit each night to look at the stars. It's a great place to unplug and relax. We loved all of the wood inside. The smell of a log cabin with wood walls just can't be beat in terms of nostalgia.

The cabin is beautiful and has great amenities. I would suggest a 4 wheel drive because the gravel in the driveway was tricky for my little car.

The only downside to the cabin is the hike up the driveway if you don’t have an all wheel drive vehicle. However, the amount of warnings prepared us for it. Had everything we needed in terms of kitchen and cleaning supplies. Our dog also loved the toys that were provided. Will definitely consider returning!

My hubs & I stayed for our 2 year anniversary. We wanted a cabin, that was secluded, but still close to stuff (places to eat, shop, things to do, etc ) This place was perfect for that!
The cabin itself is beautiful, very rustic. The furniture is comfy & the rooms are a great size. Lots of things are already provided, like spices, utensils, pots, pans, trash bags, towels, linens, TP, etc. The firepit is nice & there is a handmade stone charcoal grill next to it, which is a nice touch. The hot tub was awesome! There are separate towels for the hot tub, in the basement by the door. There is an outdoor propane grill supplied and a bistro style table to eat at. A few things could stand to be updated, like shower hardware & kitchen wares, but that just depends on your preferences. The town of Luray offers lots of attractions and places to eat. We also ate in Broadway at Beards & Broads. Loved it.
If you are looking for peace and quiet. This is definitely the place.

We spent our mornings relaxing on the front porch, our days hiking in beautiful Shenandoah and our evenings enjoying the quiet and stars. Cabin is as described. The queen and futon are in the loft so there’s only one true bedroom. The main floor bathroom is in the master bedroom suite. The 3/4 bath is upstairs. Great for our two couples. The amenities were as described. Comfortable and would rent again!

We booked this property for the better part of a week. Check in process was easy and clear. The property was beautiful and secluded but still close enough to different activities. We spent most of our time in Shenandoah national park and hopping around breweries, all of which was in a reasonable distance. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer.

We loved staying at this nice, clean cabin in the woods. It was the perfect place to come back to in the evenings after hiking at Shenandoah National Park. It was just my husband and I on this trip, but this cabin has a nice loft with space to bring the kids. Having a 4 wheeled drive vehicle will help in getting up the gravel driveway.

We felt at home as soon as we turned the jey and entered the home. Directions to the hime were clear as were the guidelines for checking in. Manager was available to answer questions throughout the reservation process and during the stay. A nice respite from the hurry of life.
