Perfect apartment

Good position of the apartment to visit the south part of Rodhos, Tsampika and her husband are so kind and they take care about every need of guests. The apartment is amazing, full equipment, beautiful, perfect for families. Also we enjoyed the time in the swimming pool. We recommend this apartment for sure!

A great place to spend your vacation

First of all, the owners of the hotel are amazing. They did their best to make us feel comfortable. Tsampika always responded to my messages and was super hospitable and helpful. The location is great. It’s close to the city centre where you can find good restaurants and a shop. The beach is just 10 minutes walking. The facilities of the place are great. You can find everything needed for cooking and comfortable stay there. Thank you so much!

Exceptional value for money. So spacious and clean for so little money... everything is there. A fully equipped kitchen and a laundry machine. Tsambika, the host, is extremely friendly and helpful. And the location is perfect, a 5-minute drive from the beach. All small-scale hotels around, so no mass-tourism feel.

Spacious, well equipped apartment with a lovely private pool. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, their family restaurant is a MUST. Gennadi is a great place for a perfect getaway. Everything is close by, restaurants, bars, supermarket, beach. Had a wonderful stay in overall😊

Absolutely spottles! Very quiet place at great location. Few minutes walk to excellent bakery,shops and restaurants. The owners are very helpfull,running lovely bar as well,very warm and welcome people. They couldnt do enough!

Not far from the village center, within a 5-minute walk you will find a bakery and supermarket, as well as many restaurants, but I advice Klimis taverna at the beach

Amazing stay

The apartament and the płace outsiedw were really great. Very clean and confortable. In the kitchen you find everything you need . Tsampika is a wonderful host who is always helpful. Recommended for families with kids

Lovely mini-coomplex of approx. 12 apartments.

Wonderful peaceful location with just a ew minutes walk into the town centre for restaurants and tavernas. Great place to have a base for exploring the island.

Recommend it to everyone that wants to visit Rhodes 🇬🇷☀️

We had an amazing time at the apartment. It was even better than on the photos and we we're welcomed so warmly. The terrace was cleaned daily and the apartment regularly as well. The hosts are such sweet people. If you need any help, have a question or just want to talk, they'll be there. They have a son, who our son played with so now and then. So nice 😊. The swimming pool was amazing. The restaurants nearby super good - definitely try the Pelicabos Taverna in Vati and Zorbas in Gennadi. For us definitely a 10 🇬🇷

Everything was perfect and better than in the picture, because you can´t see in the picture that amazing atmosphere. There isn´t places that I would definitely visit again, but that is one of them.

We enjoyed our stay so much! Lovely appartement with balcony. Airco in every room, a well equiped kitchen with dishwasher, spatious bathroom with washing machine, lots of closet space to unpack. The hosts Tsampika and Kostas are especially hospitable ♥️. Really lovely people who make sure that you have everything you need. Go to their family restaurant (Pelicanos) nearby! We also loved the location in this more quiet part of the island, near the small village where there are good restaurants, a supermarket, some shops and a excellent bakery. Beach (pebble) in the village but also sand beaches on a 15 minute drive or so. Thanks for this great holiday ✨

Maybe some more kitchen supplies like bowls for breakfast, but thats really nothing important. The bed - for us - was a bit to wobbly, but we managed to fix that so we were happy sleepers after this ☺️. The beds in the second bedroom are good for kids.

We stayed in the apartment for 6 nights in May. We went there for kitesurfing. Prasonisi beach is 25 minutes by car. Hotel has a free private parking. Kitchen is equipped with stove, cooker, electric kettle and a fridge. Netflix is available in english or german. Bathroom is spacious and clean. There is a terrace facing the sea. Swimming Pool is great, mostly for kids. Rooms were cleaned everyday and towels were changed. The Host is really great and helpfull. Supermarket and a few restaurants are just 5 minutes away by walk. I think it could be little difficult to walk to the beach especially with kids i didnt try it. Gennadi is really small town not much to do. You can rent a scooter or quad. Lindos is 20 minutes away with the car i recommend to go there for the beach, hiking or to to see the castle. It is really nice.

This lovely apartment and property is located in a quiet area of Gennadi. The apartment is well equipped and clean with a nice view from the balcony. The pool and bar area are great features of the property. The building is a short walk to the grocery store and restaurants. The manager is friendly and helpful…excellent communication!

Perfect place to enjoy summer

Very nice place to spend a summer vacation on. Lovely hosts, always helpful and willing to care to all our needs and wishes; they've prepared a very detailed list of all the places worth seeing while in Rhodes (restaurants included, and not only from Gennadi), and have treated us to a lovely wine upon arrival. The apartment (and the area) is quiet and peaceful, perfect for one's need to unwind, relax and enjoy.

Great value for the money but a bit further from the center of the island

The apartment was great, we were 4 people and it was easy to fit all of us. Tsampika helped us a lot she helped us on exploring the island by telling us cool places to go also for the basic house cares she helped us and welcomed us with water & orange juices :) Lindos which is the area close to our apartment is a really cool place with the greece island vibe.

Island is much bigger than expected so if you want to spend more time near the center the road might take longer due to traffic, so keep it in mind. Also as this is an apartment don’t forget to pack shower gel/shampoo if you don’t want to buy it.

Superb family chill

Fabulous quiet apartments for family chill. You get everything you need including even tabs for dish washer and liquid for washing machine. Fully equiped kitchen with huge dining table, free juice, beer and water in the fridge. Living room with free Netflix, huge terrace with sunbeds and outdoor table. Superb air conditioning in all rooms, mosquito nets on all the windows and doors. Very friendly owner Tsampika, gave us late check out for free. Recommended for families with children.

Wifi could be better. Dark gravel Gennadi beach, but not a problem to find sandy beaches with a car, which is a must.

Spacious inside and out. Very friendly and attentive hostess who could not do enough for us. Property close to the village centre but still very quiet, despite all apartments being occupied.

Very nice place, lovely view, lovely pool and really nice apartment. Outstanding value. Walking distance to a number of nice restaurants in Gennardi, which is also a lovely village, away from the crowds. Great getaway if you want off the beaten tracks in Rhodes.

The best week of our lives

Never have we ever felt so compelled to write a review and we can honestly say hand on our hearts that Southern Dreams is one of the best places we have ever stayed whilst on holiday. Having read the other reviews before coming, we thought it would be too good to be true however it delivered in every way imaginable. We were first time parents on our first ever holiday abroad with our 8month old baby and Southern Dreams was the perfect place for our family. Tsampika and Kostas looked after us so well during our stay and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Nothing was ever too much for them, they are the most welcoming and helpful hosts we have met. Their recommendations of places to eat and visit were all exceptional. The facilities were amazing, everything was very clean and tidy and their housekeeper was incredibly accommodating. The bar was such a welcome addition, Kostas makes the best cocktails! The location of the apartments is perfect, so close to the local village with a fantastic bakery and choice of tavernas plus a nearby beach. The views are just idyllic, waking up to the sea every morning was heavenly- we were so sad to leave! Normally we don't return to places once we have visited however we are already planning and eagerly anticipating our next stay at Southern Dreams!
