My son, husband, and I stayed for one night at this hotel. We booked this very expensive hotel in the hopes of possibly returning for a longer vacation sometime in the future. We booked a partial ocean view room. The lobby and the resort did not disappoint. The pool and beach were lovely. We ate a light dinner outside at the bar and it was delicious. We checked in around 4:30 on a Sunday. We went to our room on the fifth floor. When we got out of the elevator, I was convinced we were on the wrong floor. Employees were preparing the floor for a conference. Guest room doors were propped open, large circular tables rolled by us in the hallway, electrical cords were all over, chairs were stacked up, employees were everywhere. It was chaos. At first, I didn’t think much of it, figuring once things were set up for the conference, the hallways would be clear. That was NOT the case. The conference wasn't until Wednesday. We went in and out of the room several times, returning to the room around 9 pm eventually. The hallway stayed in its chaotic state with employees working everywhere. It seemed as though we were the only ones staying on the floor. It was as if we were staying in the middle of a conference. I still cannot believe we were put on this floor. Who decided this was a good idea? They offered to change our room and paid for our dinner but that was it. It was too late to change rooms - after 9 pm and we were settled in. So disappointing.

Possibly the most beautiful art deco hotel building in South Beach. We were put up in the building adjacent. Room was beautiful. Breakfast staff were excellent. Beach was perfect. I wish I could live here!

Disappointing. We were not told that a conference would be held at the hotel during our stay. Our observation was that these appear to be continuous with one starting as another finishes. The beach staff are officious. No opportunity to charge extra is missed. A compulsory 25% service charge is added to almost everything including the largely self service coffee shop. Room noisy.

We were put in the old tower for two rooms, neither room was the same! And for the price you pay place is outdated! Leaking water faucet, broken toilet holder! Update both towers or tear one down!! Cater to the rich, only!!

Highly recommend for traveling with children. They are very friendly and have coloring books and stuffed animals at the restaurant, sand toys at the beach, hydration stations at the pool, kids menus. Great location for walking and exploring South Beach. Loved our time at Loews and would go back!

My room was dirty with hair on the floor bed and shower. Phone wasn’t working so I had to go down to request cleaning. When I got back to the room it was already 11:30 pm and no one cleaned it. Around 1:00 am they moved me to the room next to my original room. This room had poop in the toilet!! And hair on the sheets again. Very dirty hotel with very bad customer service. Don’t recommend

Went for our 36th Wedding Anniversary! Everyone was very hospitable especially Toni at the front desk. He made a wonderful dinner recommendation, it was perfect! and the morning Sunrise and beach was beautiful!

It was my wife's 50th Birthday and they left a bottle of Prosecco and treats in our room when we arrived which was a nice gesture. I found the food and service in the lobby restaurant and breakfast restaurant to be very good but pricey. It rained the full three days we were there. There is no indoor pool or any facilities for children except for a small day nursery that you have to pay for which was more suited to toddlers than a young child. They have a large useless convention facility which they should partially convert into an indoor pool which would made our stay much more satisfying. As it turned out there was nothing for us to do in the hotel other than eat. They charge a daily hotel facility fee for use of outdoor equipment and beach facilities which is unfair when you never get a chance to use the facilities because of the rain

We have a 11 and 7 year old and visited during New Years. What a fun place - they had so many activities for kids, we walked everywhere (no need to rent a car), highly recommend the restaurants and shops on Lincoln Road. Our room was sufficient for all four of us (which is not always easy in a City), the staff was super friendly and helpful, the pool was always full but the staff always found us a chair. Great view of the skyline! Highly recommend.

Overall a good stay, lots of hidden charges, and be wary of asking concierge for help booking tours (sketchily asked to pay in cash). Also no need to upgrade to partial ocean view - totally not worth it.
