Great space, good location, private beach, super clean

The room was very clean and so spacious. We loved having the nicely equipped kitchenette with the large fridge. And the beds are super comfy! The private beach with chairs and umbrella was so convenient. The staff was so pleasant and helpful. Bonus- there is a trolley stop right outside.

The maid banging on my door a half hour before checkout was rediculous

The room looked like a fresh remodel. It smelled like a new house when we walked in. Very clean and comfortable.

I did not like the maid banging on my door at 10:30 AM when checkout is 11 AM. I did not like them taking down the umbrellas at 4 PM. They said it was because of high winds but the wind was the same speed as it was all day long. I think they just wanted to get off earlier.

Exceptional

The rooms were remodeled a couple of months ago, so we found everything new. The idea of having wall beds is great. Very clean and comfortable. The beach is spectacular, the best I would say. We'll be back for sure.

Breakfast can be improved. I have checked rates for next year and it's almost double the price of what I payed.

We made a reservation for next year, so we are happy.

The Resort is across the street from the beach. Also it is a 2-minute walk to a relative we were visiting. It is within walking distance from some of our favorite restaurants on the island. It is centrally located on the island.

There was still a lot of construction going on. Hopefully it will be done before our next visit. It would be nice to have some umbrellas covering the tables outside so we didn't have to eat breakfast with the sun beating down on us.

Mini getaway

Location Location to the beach, just a few feet away. Breakfast was okay. Prefer hot boiled eggs but served its purpose.

AC unit a little loud, but did keep room nice and cold

I like the suites. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Beds were amazing. Great location and I loved having the private beach across the street.

Great location! Room service is wonderful! Definitely coming back!

Hot breakfast would be preferable.. scrambled eggs and warmed pastries and coffee and I’m ready to roll!

Front desk can be a little more friendly.

Location was great

The location was nice. The location is beautiful!

Cleanliness needs improvement. The vents in the bathroom were dusty the motor sounds like it's burning out. The air conditioners leak bucket under them over flowing.

Perfect Stay at Silver Surf Gulf Beach Resort!

The location is perfect, they offer everything you could need while on a beach trip (beach towels; beach umbrellas and chairs; continental breakfast; spacious rooms with dishes, sink, mini fridge, microwave; watersports rental equipment, grills; picnic tables; etc.). the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice pool!

Clean, friendly, great bed, fabulous location on the beach. Receptionist is very friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful.

Pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable.

Would definitely come back.

Really liked the private beach across the street with chairs & umbrellas for us. The pool was a nice size & warm!

Wish the chairs were set up at 8 AM instead of 9:00 or later.

Room was super-clean. Staff was friendly and efficient. Pool was warm and clean. Easement to beach.

Location wasn't walkable to much. Such a small "complaint" compared to all the wonderful features.

Fabulous weekend on AMI

Location was perfect, rooms were very comfortable, well appointed and clean. Staff interactions were friendly and informative. Great snack breakfast. Bed was really comfortable and the pillows were great. Love the additional linens available in the closet.

No bedside table on 1 side of the bed made it difficult to have a drink for through the night as the bed is very high. The bed being beside the window takes a little getting used to although I can see why it's there, amazing sunset view. Air con and bathroom fan are very noisy. A lot of noise carries from neighbouring room and the walkways outside. None of these would stop us visiting again though.

Location, clean, friendly staff, nice place and the mattress was amazing. Best mattress I've ever slept in at a hotel and that's important.

what I loved about the property it had a private beach, beach chairs and umbrellas with a continental breakfast.
