Great location and the price can not be beat. It was clean and what we expected for an older motel.

It was a comfortable stay and the emplyees were nice

Breakfast could of had a better options of choices to select from and should be less like a cafeteria and self served!

Just need to update your amenitie with the room. Everything IN THE ROOM is Rusted, outdated and in bad shape.

Close to beach

Neighbors fighting and screaming. Slamming doers in the middle of the night. NO HEAT. Called front desk. Maintenance was gone for the day

Great location and view; but, in need of renovation.

Great location. Nice pool and fountain. Excellent view.

The property is old and needs renovation. They are trying to renovate; but, their efforts seen piece meal. Didn't like the room carpet as it gave you a sense that it wasn't clean. The bathrooms are very small.

It was clean, comfortable and affordable!!!

It was right across the street from the beach so it was very convenient to get what we wanted. Gaido’s restaurant attached was AMAZING for a great seafood dinner. Tara on the night shift was friendly and helpful, she went out of her way to get us forks for our leftovers and help us find our way to the restaurant. She remembered us the next night when we came in with questions. The morning girl didn’t give her name but she was also very kind and helpful with information for our exploring. It has a small town, old school feel and the room was cute and clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again!

Absolutely disgusting.

Nothing it was gross and very dirty.

There was more hair on the bathroom floor than on my head and I have hair to past my shoulders. The toilet had urine all over it.

They refunded me without having to beg after the room was uninhabitable

The bathrooms was covered in water from the toilet over flowing, there’s what appeared to be a rotten banana peel next to the bed in front of the side table, the bed sheets were dirty and the pillow had some kind of substance that resembled dried bodily fluids on it. The wall paper had what seemed to be massive amounts of dirt in the connection areas or black mold couldn’t tell

The room was terrible. Old. Fire alarm disassembled Loud people having others partying and front desk did nothing to resolve. They said they have no night security. Was not worth the $300 a night paid.

wonderful, except for the stairs

nice decor, very spacious, comfortable bed, all the amenities. I only stayed one night so I really didn’t get to enjoy the whole property.

the stairs and no elevator. I was going on a cruise and had 3 pieces of luggage to get up and down. I’m 76, weigh 98 lbs and recently had elbow surgery for a fracture. my nephew had driven me from the airport and brought it up. Leaving I was on my own. Fortunately one of the work men brought the big suitcase down when he saw me struggling with the smaller ones. when I booked I had no idea where my room would be and nothing else was available.

First time and not the last time.

Old school motel that is working hard to be better. Room décor was interesting and wonderful. Clean. Pool looked nice but we did not use it. They let us leave our cars there for cruise duration for no extra cost. Nicks Bar and Grill was very good. Friendly, helpful people. GREAT breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Not complaining, but this is an older hotel with some imperfections. Adjust your expectations. You can't be by the sea without getting weathered.

It was a satisfying stay and loved their pool

The breakfast was healthy and tasty. The staffs were sweet and was helping me out by explaining few dishes

Parking area was dirty and it was close to the room we were staying. Parking area could be maintained better

It's not a bad place. However, a little more money would buy better restrictions and safety.

The staff was great in both the hotel and in Gaidos restaurant (I have been eating there since 1971). I was not impressed with the food the way I once was. The hot tub and pool were overrun by a lot of "no arm band" people and dozens of their kids.

There was actual black foam in the hot tub and the people had no arm bands. A lot of pot smoking in multiple rooms which my granddaughter asked about. The pool was too cold to swim in and absolutely EVERYONE was in the hot tub.

pictures make it look better online, it’s not worth it.

the breakfast was delicious and the staff was nice.

there is mold everywhere. the pictures online make it look a lot better than what it is in person. in the lobby/check-in area our allergies started acting up so badly that my wife had to walk outside and wait. if you just look up and around in there, you’ll see mold everywhere. then I’m the room the bathroom was disgusting, there was hair and mold and just mess on the floor like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. the room was cute, it was just stuffy. we had sore throats from the musty AC and our door didn’t shut properly. we had to slam it each and every time because the handle didn’t work. I’m sure that was a pleasant experience for our neighbors. the fire alarm in our room was 100% broken in half/taken apart on the wall. we were booked for 3 nights but checked out after one night of staying there. we live in Dallas 5 hours away, so we spent the day on the island and went home. it’s extremely disappointing that our 4 day weekend trip turned into one night because the accommodations were so poor. I’ve stayed in other places on the east and west sides alike and never had such a poor accommodations experience.

Across the road from the beach, fabulous facilities, friendly staff, comfy beds and great breakfast. Would stay ago. Also very worth going to Gaido’s for dinner.

Gaido’s is now our standard before cruise hotel!

Very clean and everything worked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room front parking (handy since it was raining). Short walk to Nick’s restaurant (on property). Great place to stay the night (or two) before a cruise. We will be back!

We loved Gaido’s and plan to study there again.

Gaido’s was great. It’s an older hotel with charm and character, but is kept clean and updated. The staff were really helpful and kind. The location right on the beach was perfect.

For the price, I liked everything. My only critique might be that the breakfast area has no seating. But to be fair, there’s a breakfast nook in your room, so it evens out.
