3rd time, not a charm

The location is nice

I really didn't feel like the room was clean. I felt like the bed had a musty smell, and the linens were not sanitized. There was a lot of commotion in the hall after hours. We were put up on the 4th floor. I feel like we were put there probably because the rooms on the other floors weren't cleaned. The property wasn't very busy based on the number of vehicles in the parking lot. I've stayed here 3 times trying to give it a chance, I will try to avoid staying here in the future. The location is convenient, and that's why I've gone back.

Excellent hotel

Breakfast was very good. Scrambled eggs and sausage and waffles. Great location to restaurants and shopping center nearby. Hotel is fairly new and off hwy so it's quiet. We stay here because it's close to my medical Drs.

We will not stay there again. They should have shared information regarding no internet.

The room was clean and convenient to the front of hotel.

The price. It cost me over $400.00 for 2 nights which I have never paid that much for rooms. We had no internet from the time we got there until the time we left. They had been having trouble with it all week they said but there was no notice on making reservations that it did not work. My daughter takes her work with her and does her work after we get done for the day and back to the room. She was totally mad. I should have received a refund for my price I paid and having to internet for the whole weekend.

Do you really need an ADA room?

Had car trouble and left a lot later than anticipated. Called hotel to let them know we'd be very late. Got in at 225am. Front desk clerk was very pleasant.

Got to room and keys didn't work. Went back and got new ones. They didn't work either. Called from desk and she came up to let us in. Room had not been cleaned. She went to find us another room. Ten minutes later she called me to verify that I had booked an accessible room. When I said yes, was asked if I really needed it. I have mobility issues and my ankles aren't always stable. So yes, I need the bars and higher toilet. By this time, it was 315. I had to be on the road by 10 to reach my next destination on time. By the time we got into a room it was 345. When asked if they would do anything about the issues we had, was told because I booked through Booking that they couldn't do anything for me. The room we eventually got was clean just not accessible, so I couldn't have a shower in the morning.

It was OK. Nothing to get excited for.

Heater/air conditioner worked well. Lots of hot water.

Need more towels, shampoo would be nice. Tub is slippery. Bed is too soft and is too high for a short person with arthritis. Eggs and sausage were cold. Need more choices for breakfast.

I'd go back but only if I knew the WIFI was working.

A clean and comfortable hotel in a good location.

The hotel WIFI did not work during the entirety of our stay. Hotel staff had no idea if and when the WIFI would be fixed and didn't seem to care. For most travellers this might not be an issue but as an international traveller with children having to use international roaming data to keep up to speed on work proved very expensive.

We will be back

My husband and I always choose this motel when traveling to Wichita. It is always clean, great location, and decent price. Seems like some items in the breakfast area have gone away since the Covid year and we do really miss the fruit in the water😉 It is the little things 🍓🫐🍏🥑🍊🍑🍒 More fruit for breakfast would be a pleasant addition with a lot of people looking for better choices. I do Understand prices of everything went up, sorry. Thanks so much for trying very hard to keep good staff, a clean facility and trying to keep prices down among everything else. Great place to stay.

It was clean, perfect location for shopping and dining.

The WiFi did not work for the whole seven days we were there. They said that it was being worked on, but never worked.

Good location poor breakfast

Location, nice room, friendly staff

Breakfast was less number of items than before. They had waffles, scramble eggs, sausage in liquid, muffins and beagles. They normally have cereal but their truck hadn't arrived yet. I'm thinking they could have gone to a store and picked up some cereal. Very disappointed in the breakfast. Would have liked a couple more choices, and some advanced planning when they are running low and the truck is not scheduled for another day.

Comfortable and cozy with super helpful staff

It was very near a mall with anything you might need. The parking lot was well lit. The lobby was spacious and comfortable. The desk staff were polite and helpful. The room was super quiet. There was a new television with a big screen. I liked the hotel.

It was a little hard to find.

Here for the pool

We liked staying on the 4th floor. The breakfast options were good. We loved the pool so much, we swam 3 times! I liked that I could do late checkout.

The girl who checked us in didn't tell us ANYTHING about where our room was located, where the elevator was, and didn't give any information about breakfast or the hotel specifics. She definitely needs alot of work to improve her customer service skills. I bought 4 of the bottled waters at the little market in the hotel for $12. So outrageous!

Very Nice Hotel in Every Way

My husband I and I are world travelers and often stay in fancy hotels. We chose this La Quinta for a quick, one night stay. We didn't expect such a nice hotel! Huge and pretty lobby, free breakfast, free parking and a nicely appointed room. Great value!

Awful beds & pillows

Nice location and nice hotel

The front desk lady had me standing there for 15 minutes while on the phone with a customer not once acknowledged me, greeted or said I'll be with you in a moment. The beds were awful so hard and stiff, my back was hurting all day the next day. The pillows seem very old. It's like crumbling up a bunch of paper to sleep on. Could not get a good night's sleep.

The bed was comfortable

The staff was rude af! Worst hotel staff experience ever as a whole! I sent a request to be in a corner upper level as I am a light sleeper and was in town for a medical procedure. Got to our room, literally right in front of the elevators. The hotel staff never wanted to greet us or be polite in any regard. Worst hotel staff I have ever experienced by far. Rude, and would literally leave the front desk and go into back room if they thought a guest was walking by the front desk instead of greeting them.

Moldly hotel will not be back.

Arrived late easy to get the room. People there seem nice. Great loaction to visit my son for the weekend at WSU

Im very sensitive to mold... could smell the musty old water leak smell cant do it again will not be returning. We had two room and both rooms had the smell. I would rather pay double then smell mold.
