Zona Colonia Must Stay!Jun 2021
We stayed in the Terrace Executive Suite and it was perfect! We were here for business in Dominican Republic and had to move to downtown for 5 days after our first 3 day stay at the Billini. We loved it so much we got the same room for our last night on the island. Wonderful staff, food and rooms! Perfect location for all the beautiful history! Love the corner cafe for morning coffee and pastries as well.

The location was awesome, and the hotel was very clean and amazing. The staff was very helpful and professional. I would definitely recommend.
my only argument was that the room that I had didn’t have any view.

Really nice hotel and had a great dinner at the restaurant
Paid extra for the 'Cathedral View" room and could not really see the cathedral. window was in awkward position behind tree growth and no real view. woudl have been happier to pa the lower price for a regular room

Pet friendly home away from homeJan 2023
Perfection!
Possibly the most complete hotel in the area. Multiple amenities such as rooftop pool, spa, and a lot of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner in their various restaurants and bars on-site.
The staff was great and this hotel is one of the few pet friendly hotels in the area !❤️
Unfortunately, going downhillJun 2021
Nice location
The lighting in the room I stayed was terrible. The only light besides those by the bed was the ceiling fan. The ceiling fan did not work the first night and once it was fixed, the light on it didn't work.

Note 5 from 10, Pets are welcomeSep 2021
I liked the design of the hotel and especially the fact that the hotel does not charge a fee for pets, that made me very happy! The room was very clean despite the shortcomings I have listed.
The breakfast was delicious, except for the strawberries, they didn't look fresh.
On the rooftop there was a restaurant and a pool.
The pool was very refreshingly cool clean.
Despite the many misunderstandings, the staff is very nice and polite :)
I didn't like that the first room - I didn't have a real window to look out, only windows where you look into the hotel building and the toilet flush was also broken. The staff immediately offered us a different room, which was very nice. But in the bathroom on the toilet flush there was old dirt that was dried up and in the shower the temperature display was missing. The shower was set incorrectly, if you set it to + it got cold and - very hot. I found stains on my towel. I hope it was stains that don't clean up, it wasn't very pleasant.
With the included breakfast, the sparkling water was also to be paid for, which we were only told afterwards.
You can also hear everything in the hotel from the street very loudly and the windows in the room, which are also in the hotel lobby, were also very loud from other guests.
The lighting in the room was also very dark.
The touchpad for room service or please do not disturb Button is also defective.
On the rooftop terrace where you lie on the sun loungers, the corners where you don't look directly are not cleaned, you can see old dirt.
On different pages the hotel is named with 5 stars, on other pages with 4 stars. It is very confusing.
On the first evening we wanted to eat in the restaurant and the front desk said it was open until 11 p.m., the waiter said the kitchen was already closed by 10 p.m., then we sat there after our arrival with hungry and we had to go to the front desk again to be asked and then there was still something to eat. I found the prices quite expensive for this country, we ordered two starters, a main course and two cokes.
Water for the dogs was also charged.
We were at about 60 USD.
There is no towel service at the pool, you have to run down and find out more. Also at breakfast you have to run in front and order something again, since the waitress doesn't check in between to see if something is needed.
Great hotel, staff and locationJul 2021
Hotel and rooms are very nice, location is walking distance to anywhere in the colonial zone. Rooftop pool and bar are great. Staff and service is excellent and the restaurant serves some really good food, and service stays open until almost 10pm (there is a 6pm city-wide Covid curfew that closes all other businesses outside the hotel). There’s a great little cafe called Corner Cafe right next to the hotel.
