Beautiful place and super service minded personal

Very very helpful and service minded personal. Good breakfast buffet. Nice surroundings and very green and beautiful. The pool was clean.

It needed a little paint and renovation.

Amazing

We loved it! The stuff was so kind and nice and willing to help! Room was perfectly clean and swimming pool was wonderful, water inside was amazing, total privacy!! We’ll recommend it 100% and totally going back again!!

Very good comfortable stay

Hotel itself is beautiful, nice surroundings: lake, pool, main lobby, soda bar etc. Rooms are really nice, spacious bathroom , Philips hairdryer(2100w)(info for girls).

One main thing that we didn’t like was moldy smell in the room at first when we entered. Very strong, with AC pumping and being in a room for a while, you get used to it and it’s seems alright. But just heads up for people with allergies.

Just do it, and do the Villa

We got an upgrade with our stay to a private Villa and we cannot express how lovely they are! Each Villa has its own little pool. We have to give a shout-out to Nine who is a staff member that was extremely helpful during our stay. answered questions, helped us find things around, kept our ice bucket full, etc. the whole staff was amazing.

Beach access is a bit of a trek. would be good if they had shuttles to the beach.

ok, too expensive for what you get

nice location and building

sky jacuzzi, pool slide and pool bar were closed due to renovation. Nobody told us before. beach shuttle was suspended though other hotels provided a shuttle

Very cosy and relaxing! Excellent breakfast choices everyday all staff welcoming and friendly. breakfast waiters one in particular made our stay extra special he always had a smile on his face and looked like he enjoyed working their. Manager recommended fantastic day trip and helped us with taxi very helpful team. thank you

For a small resort hotel, relatively cheaper option for Yalong Bay

We were upgraded to a family suite so our room(s) was huge!

The breakfast could be better quality / choice. Although the public beach is only about 5-10 minute walk away, if you want to be directly on the beach…you’ll have to choose a more expensive option over the road. Also as with most of Yalong Bay options, if you want restaurants and bars, it’s a good 30 minute drive away from this area.

Very friendly staff

Because of the friendly staff, we got a free upgrade to one of the villa’s with private pool.

Facility in general is old and would need a refurbishment.

A strange design that feels like people are not meant to relax near the pool

It was close enough to walk to the beach. The balconies were spacious.

This hotel is weird, it is very strangely designed. There is no convenient access to the pool and no beds near the pool even to put your stuff on. Parts of the pool were not in use or were not working and even had a strange smell.

Better to stay somewhere nearby in a cheaper hotel

Nothing to be excited about. Just a hotel. Nice staff.

Once it was a nice hotel. Long time ago. Now they are apparently waiting for complete renovation. Many things they do not repair, just waiting for 100% renovation. At least, it looks like this. Very very average breakfast. To get to the seaside, You have to wait long time for a buggy, or walk long way. Or go through the opposite hotel's territory (it is the shortest way). But if going through the hotel across the road, have some embarrassing feeling when beeing asked questions by guards for entry and have to show covid green code (so every time have to take mobile with you).... The price must be much lower for this property. If You want to stay here for money reason, better go find cheaper hotel nearby.

Peaceful with lovely scenery in the trees.

We loved the long pool and the views and peacefulness. The shady areas in the pool are great for relaxing during the warmest part of the day. The sound of running water and the hotel is not very noisy and busy with makes for a peaceful stay.

Some of the pool areas and parts of the property need maintenance. With a lick of paint, a gardener to tend to the weeds and things will look better. Our stay was post lockdown in parts of China so the lack of tourists for 4 months may also be the reason why the buildings and pools look like they need some care.

Private, quiet, good value.

For a private, quiet, relaxed holiday… the pool villas are absolutely perfect.

The property was among the first built in Yalong Bay and age is showing compared to other newer resorts… yet is aging gracefully. We didn’t mind the more “well-seasoned” aspects of the property but might bother some.

Service and working staff are perfect!!! Everyone is kind and ready to help!

Location of swimming pool is not comfortable to get. Access is ok only for 1 st floor. Cleaning service is not ok, they don’t change bedsheets on time!

relaxing stay but next time would choose a bigger hotel in Yalong bay

private villas and private pool were very nice

not a lot to the hotel, public pools are limited, only 1 restaurant, bar was empty and staff were untrained (I had to show them how to open a bottle of wine)

One of the best service we got in many years in China. The staff is very friendly and courteous. Breakfast is really rich. Rooms are spacious with lovely balkony and very nice bathroom. Special thanks to room cleaning service Ms. 张小新. sure we will come back for another lovely vacation.

Great Stay!

Stayed in a villa with its own pool, so relaxing and comfortable. The hotel was pretty clean. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of western food, they had nice variety of breads, croissants, cheese, salami, eggs, etc.. and had a nice coffee machine to make lattes and expresso. The beach is just across the street and only takes a few minutes to walk over. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

hotel, room, service, staff etc was excellent as was its location to the beach.

great to have private pool, large room with accommodating jacuzzi and king size bed. Large bathroom, quiet and private. Staff were wonderful and accommodating.

While close to the beach with great activities, we still felt isolated, nothing within walking distance (shops or restaurants), City Center was 40 minutes drive away. Everything was far and required long taxi rides. Hotel only offered one restaurant with only buffet breakfast and dinner. Other hotels also had limited offerings so eating the same thing every day left us disappointed in terms of dining.

Breakfast was good with a large choice of ingredients. Need to refill milk and orange juice faster / Pool is excellent as always, Rooms are nice , clean, shower has good pressure. would be good to have more foreign channels

stay in the villa

i liked the villa pool and the location , a nice spot in yalong bay, clean water and blue sky, few shops around. staff was also great and the spa offers nice retreats. the after sun treatment was excellent.

the room is a bit old furniture, needs some restoration. the pools in the main area are so so, not many chairs, unless u booked a room by the pool. a bit strange layout. breakfast was also so so and the gym too small

Utmost Tranquility

I managed to get an exceptional deal, and so I highly recommend that you keep your eyes open for when this hotel has special offers. These villas offer by far the best 'private pools' of any hotel I have ever been to. Honestly, sometimes private pools are basically bathtubs, but here you get a proper pool. If your emphasis is on alone time and relaxation then this is the perfect hotel.

When management are present everything runs smoothly, but other staff seem ill-trained. They are super friendly, and they try, but they clearly have no idea what is going on. Management needs to invest some time and effort in enhancing employee skills.

I enjoyed the Thai style villa a lot!!! Who doesn’t like a private pool just outside of your bedroom? The location is also great! Good service but the room would need some maintenance 😅 overall a very good experience!

Perfect holiday

We were in a Villa with a private swimming pool. We enjoyed the cleaning of the room and surroundings. We were very close to the main lobby and the restaurant. Even though the beach is so closed, the hotel has a pick up drop off point to the beach and to the villas. The breakfast and the dinner was outstanding, a real continental breakfast! The staff was super good.

There was several gifts including in our room reservation. One of them was cancelled due to the COVID, this was the yacht sailing. But we saw at the beach lost of activities as usual, so not really sure that was the real reason. Next to our Vila there were some machines that were making some noise… but we could stand it. The facilities are a little broken… but because they were so cleaned we won’t complain about that.

Passable

The beds were comfortable. Close-ish to the beach.

We arrived just before 3pm. (The hotel lobby is like stepping into hell!! No AC or fans on. Incredibly hot) Check in is at 3pm. We were then told that we had to wait, because our room was not cleaned or ready. We were allowed to enter at 3:40pm. The AC in the room was horrible. We had to go to reception and ask them to fix it. Which they did. The hairdryers do not work in the bathroom. Called 3 times to get help, or a new hairdryer. Only to be told that they dont work in the bathroom, when we asked reception. The shower door did not close properly. The door leading to the pools struggled to close and lock properly. The pool-access was not really pool access. The staff level of English was not very good. The breakfast is the same daily and not that great.

Pool area was really nice, rooms were spacious and clean. The spa was good value for money

Not many spoke English. Waterslide was out of service. We had to wait for more than 45 min for lunch.

Great location and facilities , a bit unhappy with the cleanliness and food

Service could deliver ice just by pressing one button .

Breakfast didn't meet out expectations considering the price. Also bed sheets and blankets weren't changed after the first night which I think is unacceptable for a hotel of this calibre.
