Great hosts, great location and great beach club. The basis of a great holiday.

Patrick and Lisbeth are wonderful hosts. The location of Villa46 is superb and the free membership of the local beach club is out of this world

A truly enjoyable place with the best owners

First, I have to say that we decided to visit Barbados on a whim, and booked this house the night before arrival, and yet, it was ready and clean even a few hours before the official check-in time, and at such a short notice. The next big plus is the fact that the owners communicated all the time, providing important information, and then met us in the house to hand over the keys. This is so rare in today's age of "contactless" everything and it really meant a lot to us. The house has a beautiful garden with flowery trees, a parking in front of the house, and easy access to the very good bus system. It is 5 minutes' walk from a gorgeous beach with a small reef (albeit damaged) for snorkeling, where we saw amazing fish on any day. There is a big supermarket, a lux shopping mall and several restaurants and bars. Holetown is most likely the most expensive area of the entire island, the prices of eating out are almost prohibitive, so it meant a lot that the kitchen was fully functional and equipped, and that we could cook all our meals there. One can really enjoy in the house, and I even managed to do some work with quite good wi-fi. Everything is provided, including such items like beach towels, chairs, and sunbrella, or a thermo bag for your beach beer, for example. Finally, and most importantly, Lis and Patrick are the kindest people who will remain in your heart long after you have visited them. I cannot recommend them and their house enough for a really enjoyable vacation, or even a workation, like mine.

location was great. Villa owners Patrick and Lisbeth could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Patrick picked us up from the airport and took us directly to the property. He even offered to stop of at the local supermarket to pick up some essentials. Membership of the local beach club pool area was included and we made good use of the facilities on multiple days. All in all a great break away.

Holiday paradise

Villa 46 was perfect for us, very cute and comfortable. It was close to the beach, supermarket, park and shops; with free access to a lovely pool. Lisbeth and Patrick, the owners,went out of their way to make us feel welcome and explain how everything worked. The villa has everything you need including a small, but beautiful garden and veranda; perfect for relaxing and taking time out of the sun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to couples who prefer to do their own thing.
