Spacious apartment in the middle of nowhere.

Lucas, the host went above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. What a great guy! Thanks again. The apartment was roomy with plenty of space, 2 ACs that kept cool, terrace and a shared pool in the heart of the small place. It was a bit tough to find the place the first time, but thankfully there is now a much-needed road sign there - with reflector, so you can also see it in the night! very nice. The bed was incredibly comfy. Maybe one of the most comfortable ones you can get in this pricing range. Also, there is a kitchen that offers basically everything you need to stay self-suficient.

The location was in the middle of nowhere. Even by motorbike it's quite a ride to get somewhere. I enjoy riding the bike, so I didn't care too much. The last part of the road is a tiny - maybe 100 meters long - gravel way leading up to it. So the hotel quite literally is one of these much-cited "hidden gems". I've read in other reviews that there was a water problem, so I was not shocked, but it was really sandy / brown and smelled like old coins. Also, for me it was not an issue to bring my own water, but if this is a known issue, it would be a nice gesture to provide 2 small bottles when you arrive and maybe explain on a letter that it is nothing to worry about. Because it was very unusual.

the location is pretty good. if you are looking for a place in the middle of the jungle and away from noise this is the perfect place for you. Lucas was helpful and kind.

the entire water system was dirty and polluted resulted from corrosion. when we asked for a solution they told us that it will eventually become clean. unfortunately, it didnt until the day we left.

No bottled water provided brown water from the sink tap bathroom is a mosquito farm attacked by at least twenty every time you go to bathroom Very distressing like a war so many

We stayed 7 nights at Carpe Diem and were very happy with our stay. The location of the residence was perfect. You can reach all places on the island easily. While it is true that at first the residence is a bit hard to find that was a point we actually appreciated since the place was more secluded this way. At one point the rainfall was so heavy that you had to drive through mud to get to the residence which was a bit annoying. However the owner quickly ordered pebble to cover the muddy road. The room was moden and well groomed. The hot water was working for us (the stream was not that strong).

It was just perfect!! The place is really nice, cute decoration, perfectly clean, good wifi! The owners are really nice and available anytime to help if needed! The location is good too, we had a bike and it was easy and quick to go to nice coffee shops, restaurant, beach... I highly recommend it, and can’t wait to go back again!

Great little paradise

Perfect little paradise a bit outside (8min drive on bike) the centre. Great hosts. Really care about you and help In every possible way. From bike rentals, taxi’s to boats. Definitely going back when I’m back on the Island. Thanks!

Top top top!!!

We have chosen accommodation in Carpe Diem based on perfect reviews. The reality exceeded our expectations. Right from the start we were just thrilled. Carpe Diem is a small family-run resort, nestled in a beautiful, well-kept area, surrounded by nature. Very quiet place in a strategic location. A few minutes to the center and to the beautiful beaches in the north of the island. Several local restaurants, 7/11 and a French bakery are nearby. We lived in Slow hous, a large, spacious villa with a fully equipped kitchen. Large living room, beautiful bedroom with comfortable bed and bathroom with hot water. The whole house is very tastefully furnished. Super quiet air conditioning. The resort features an outdoor seating area and a very refreshing outdoor pool. Arrival at the resort is well marked and lit in the evening. Belgian owners take care of you above standard and you can see that your holiday and stay here is a priority for them. We enjoyed it every day and we were very happy here. David, thank you very much once again for a nice stay and we send you a big greeting from Prague and the whole family. We will definitely want to come back again. Don't forget to stroke Luna and Daisy for us. Peter and Renata
